Simon Kenton is entering a tough two game stretch without Mike Hester. They play Oldham tonight and then Male Wednesday night in the Toyota Classic.

 

I like SK tonight by 5 at home, what say you???

I will stand with you and take SK. Oldham Co is not as strong this year as they have been in years past. However, without Hester, SK could be vulnerable. It should be a good game!

As sloppy as they looked last night. I would say they would be hard pressed to pull out a win. However, they were playing to the level of their competition. Teams have figured out to trap our guards when they cross the half court line. SK must overcome that. I know Hester is out, but, why was Hopkins and Parrott out last night? Ponzer is quick on the point and a decent defender, but, I have rarely seen him make a shot. If he shoots, Hurd might as well crash the boards.

Hopefully, SK can pull this one out. They better hope they do not have to rely on free throws!

Games just don't seem to be as exciting without Mike in there. His crossover is one of the bests I've ever seen, and is worth the admission price. Ponzer is a solid guard, with good shooting ability, he just has been off all season. Should be a good game though.

This will be a fun score to look for. The two sides of the region who don't really play a lot of the same teams. Both in the top 5 in the region even without Hester. Oldham by 3

Don't know the exact score, but SK won by around 7-8.

Looks like the top 4 or 5 in the region are real close. SK in what appears to be a close one and Shelby in OT. Going to be fun down at Henry this year.

KHSAA has it a 9 point game. 9 point win over Oldham without Hester IMO makes SK the hands down favorite in the region when he gets back. NICE win SK.

When Hester gets back and up to speed, SK will be the clear cut favorite in the 8th.
