Nice win for the Dawgs. Good confidence booster.

Any stats on the game how did Austin Hill do?

I didnt see bReon Avery's name in the boxscore? Did he play?

Yes he played a good game. Great ball handler. Austin Hill is a very good player and the Camels had no answer for him. Very strong player with an aggressive move to the basket. Refs let them play which hurt the Camels. Hill ended up with 23 points. Leading scorer for the Camels was Jon Verst with 10 points. Camels played a strong first half but Holmes countered in the second half and shut the Camels down offensively and the Camels did not make adjustments. Credit to the Holmes team...these players have taken advantage of this opportunity, hope this sends a message to their teammates.

I think the camel faithful should worry about their own vs. making comments about other programs. Campbell County needs to worry about someone who can shoot the ball instead of throw the ball to the basket. Very weak inside and only a little outside shooting. But the sophmores playing show great promise. Time to start them on varsity. The older Camels are simply not getting it done.

Camels couldn't put the ball in the basket. Only 18 points total in the last three quarters. Not going to win any games with that kind of offensive output.

Two more games and the dawgs will be full streght, I wonder what coach H will do at this point. I think everyone will contribute, but I agree what I read from another thread, these players will need to prove there worth and that they will be team players or sit the bench. I am proud of this team of young dawgs, they have either won or had a chance to win every game played. Keep up the good work, this experience bodes well for the dawgs future.

Is Holmes at full strength yet or did the "Replacements" win another?

Jan 29th against Ryle, Holmes should be at full strength as it has been 4 games, and Scott makes the 5th. On Feb 1st, against Newport, is when DJ should eb back. But I'm hearing he may come back with the other 4 starters.

That is the same thing i saw at the game, not enough scoring. I know we have the kids to do it, get in there guys and show us you can!!

Hopefully when the starters do come back for Holmes, the guys playing now, keep playing the way they are in practice as well to push those guys to be on top of their game.
