16th Region Outlook 09-10
I don't think they lost all their psycho parent drama! Maybe their loudest, but not all of them. Maybe they can get someone to step up though. I know it didn't bother them any last year because they ran through the 16th region like a dose of salt's.......widow woman.....screen door.....thirty paces!:thumb: I am very good friends with the one you are reffering to and I actually like him better than the others because you knew what he was saying, thinking, or going to do. You see they have these on every team including your's but you rarely run into one like him that is not politically correct and doesnt care that everyone knows what he is thinking or how he feels. The other type go's around behind your back to stick the knife in at least with him you knew what was coming.:thumb:

Indiana 64 Kentucky 49
Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. I have saw that quite often where I am from. Where two players think they are the only ones who can do anything in big games and forget that they have some great ability around them that might just help them win if they had used it.:thumb: I really hate too hear that is how it finalized.

Elliott County 2009/2010
From what I have heard this years team will be better than last years. My source says Nickell, Knipp, And Faulkner will be as good or better than last years trio. Ison will be stepping in where T Knipp was last year and some Fraley kid will be better than the older Knipp was. Looks like the EC fans may be doing a 4-peat.

Jr. Ky All-Stars
I think the best jrs in the state would wipe out the senior team. I also think that is why they are not playing is to let the senior team shine. All in the politics.

Burnout for Jonathan Ferguson?
I am very good friends with the Ferguson's. Those who are trying to make it look like Dale and Sheila are in the wrong...are wrong. Don't criticize someone until you have walked in their shoes. According to Dale he has always let his kids choose their hobbies, sports, etc., but whatever they chose he encouraged them to give it 110%. Dale said that he spent close to 20,000 on Jonathans camps, aau excursions, and nationwide trips for summer ball all beng justified in his mind by the fact that they would get Jonathan a free college ed. He says they are issues other than being burned out that caused him to turn agaisnt the game and he could sense it for last two years and knew he didnt enjoy playing in high school and when he would ask him are you planning on going on to college and playing he would get a solid YES! Then with 2-3 weeks left in the season he finds out he isnt going to go on and play....I would say anyone on here would be shocked. Dale was more heartbroken over the decieving than the not playing. As far as affecting their relationship....not in the least. They have been traveling all over hunting and fishing. OH!! By the way i passed up the chance to play college sports also and didnt realize I regretted it for about ten years!

Players Moving on To College
I like your title. It makes me think of Jonathan. Jonathan could have played D1 at a dozen or more schools. He was contacted by Donnie Tyndall of Morehead last Saturday wanting to know if he was interested in playing there. Ferg told him not interested. Your title really makes me think of Ferg.:thumb:

You are wrong. Ferguson was offered a prefferred walk on by Coach Brennemen of WKU. According to his dad it was exactly as Boonesp described it.

Players Moving on To College
Had a talk yesterday with Dale and a couple other friends. Just thought I would let you know you are wrong on your highlighted assessment BBF. Dale said when the buzzer went off on the last game he was ecstatic and even told friends it was one of the happiest days of his life knowing that Jonathan would never have to endure playing for Rick and one of the players ever again. He also said that the following day when Jonathan returned home he was happiest he had saw him in two years. You are right about one thing though, he really seems to love his kids. He also said he has scheduled several hunting and fishing trip for the summer and the fall and would much rather be hunting or fishing with Jonathan than sitting somewhere watching him play a game. For the most important note: Jonathan is enrolling in the college of his choice and pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. Don't be surprized if there is a Drug store pops up in Isonville in about eight years and Isonville's very own Jonathan "Ferg" Ferguson is the Pharmicist:thumb::

Players Moving on To College
Ferguson is in the top five scorers in state history. As Lion Mania said, the only one whom could answer these questions truthfully is not a BGP member any longer to the best of my knowledge. In talking to some of the family I took it he could have went to Marshall, Western Ky(pwo), Northern, G'Town, Lehigh, Air Force, and Cumberland University in NC last I heard.

Ohio/Kentucky All Stars
Ferguson was invited to KY/OH game. He was also invited to KY/IND, but declined to play in both. This info should be correct it came from Dale.
