Seems funny not putting Elliott at the top since we've become so accustomed to it. How do you see the 16th shaking out?

I heard Russell has been playing some good ball over the summer. I know they beat both Rose Hill and Greenup County. I expect Kidwell's boys to make a little more noise in the region this year.

Maybe more seperation in middle teams than some think. Who all lost a bunch?

Goodness sakes. I was at the Greenhouse just a couple of days ago and saw the Red Devils dismantle Greenup, then turn around and lay a big egg against Fairland, OH who Greenup demolished.

As for a little more noise in the region, they won 5 games last year. I think simply winning more games than the football team does this season would be remarkable improvement from the Russell squad.

Teams

1. Rose Hill - Very big and athletic. Have two of the better players in the region in Terry and Gregg.

2. East Carter - Second best player in the region with a very solid supporting cast.

3. Elliott County - Best player in the region with very underrated supporting cast.

4. Ashland - Loss of Bonner hurts but have good guard play returning.

5. Russell - Team filled with good shooters.

 

Players

1. Timmy Knipp - Off to a very good start this summer and I look for him to excel in the role of "being the man".

2. Colt Barnhill - Like Knipp, his spring on the AAU circuit was great. Look for Barnhill to be a 20 pts 10 reb guy on most nights.

3. Corey Gregg - Big body who battles every night.

4. Mike Terry - Outside of Knipp he may be the best college prospect in the region. Good size and athleticism.

5. Will Skaggs - Solid. Makes few mistakes and can knock down open shots.

You know what amos, you may be right. Elliott may play looser this season, they no doubt have talent and perhaps some of the psycho parent drama has graduated as well.:clap:

I don't think they lost all their psycho parent drama! Maybe their loudest, but not all of them. Maybe they can get someone to step up though. I know it didn't bother them any last year because they ran through the 16th region like a dose of salt's.......widow woman.....screen door.....thirty paces!

I am very good friends with the one you are reffering to and I actually like him better than the others because you knew what he was saying, thinking, or going to do. You see they have these on every team including your's but you rarely run into one like him that is not politically correct and doesnt care that everyone knows what he is thinking or how he feels. The other type go's around behind your back to stick the knife in at least with him you knew what was coming.:thumb:
