Most of us Elliott Co fans know who you are referring to. He is a very good friend of mine!! I am also very good friends with his son!! I have talked to his son on more than one occasion and asked him if it bothered him when his dad was hollering at the ref's. He said"quote" I rarely hear him but when I do it don't bother me. Actually the comment was between Anderson, Ferguson, and Faulkner which is why I also thought Hudson should have been included if "we" were statistically speaking....Unless there was "another underlying motive"...........

If oyp was only seeing things from a "statistical point of view", why did he leave out Hudson from Warren Central? He shot 67% from field and 100 % from the line, which is the higher statistic from either team.

If I were Russell I would tip my hat to coach mays who put the Elliott player's thru a marine type workout for about an hour monday! One player told me quote" I am so sore in my leg's I can barely walk, and so sore in my shoulder's I don't believe they would hold me up if I tried to crawl"quote I am sure he was exxagerating a little, but the point is they were all very sore after monday's practice. I am sure that was good for at least ....hmm...les see.... ..........six misses! :D

The difference in the game was Elliott's off shooting night! 11% 3ptfg 33% overall. (not the Russell defense) but Elliott had plenty of open look's that didn't go down. I talked to some of the player's who told me that during monday's practice they did drill's that hadn't been done in four or five months. They all also said they were very sore in the groin and shoulders. I believe that would cause a body to miss a few shot's. I talked to Ferguson's dad and he said that ferg was complaining about being very sore in the shoulder's and a little in the thighs. I wonder what Mays was thinking??

I don't know anything about a Texas Death Match, but I know that sportsfan was exiled from the Sabine Parrish(parrish is same as a county) in Louisiana. He "De-activated" three civillian's at the same time in less than a minute. He then "motivated quickly" to Texas, where he caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 largemouth bass in the 4-5 lb range. Don't know if that has anything to do with Texas Death Match, but he must be pretty versatile!:thumb: :scared: Great job on the poll Cubster! Look's about right.

Knipp should be huge for Elliott for the next four year's!!!!!

After watching Elliott tonight I think they really live up to their team name(Lion's). They never stop digging and clawing!!!!!!!!

I tell you what I say! Maynard was given some time and like everyone else on the team he wasn't on!! He was 1-2 from layup land and 0-3 from beyond the arc. I'm sure if he had busted a couple of those trey's he would have gotten more playing time. I don't know about last year but according to the Daily Independent friday morning Maynard is shooting 63% from the stripe. Being able to shoot isn't everything. When Maynard is on he is hard to clean after but thursday night "NOBODY" from Elliott was on! As a team Elliott shot 35% from the field and a dismal 28% from the stripe.

Yes and foot speed also means being able to come off the screen or curl fast enough to leave the defense behind enough to be open when you recieve the pass. Hello World!!!!! Was just trying to help anyway!!! As for bottom highlight tell your coach not me. I'm just a fan !

Those are the two weakest defensive teams in the region. Especially Menifee!! Against Raceland and Morgan he only took 5 shot's both games combined! It wasn't because he didnt get touch's. He just didn't get many 'open" looks because of the defense. Bottom line is he is a good kid and can shoot the lights out when left 'open" but against a good defensive team he is not quick enough to get the open shot. IMO his supporter's on here should get him some foot speed drill's get him to work like a maniac all summer and be able to be "Lights Out" next year! That's my honest opinion not trying to diss anyone. He has good court sense, good shooter, good player, just lagging in foot speed which can be remedied!!! Now for the Elliott Co. team they are doing fantastic playing good team ball and "everyone " on the team contributes in some way. YOU ALL(ELLIOTT) SHOULD BE HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO Elliott is a big regional contender and they didn't play within 5-7 of them.

if Elliott play's the game they have been Elliott by 12!!!!! If they don't will be a long night for the young Lion's
