I understand how the administration may have went wrong in this decision but I don't think the school is going to lose anything in hiring Elaine Douglas. She is a great coach and will take the school in the direction they want to go in.

They live in aberdeen Ohio and have been going to St.Pat all their lives because their parents work in Maysville. Just because they decide to play sports should be a KHSAA violation?

Elaine Douglas has always been around coaching she has coached in middle school for awhile, and they were the same girls who are in high school now. The high schoolers love and admire her and she has had great success in coaching. She would make a great successor.

They lost a lot of seniors but Clarke and maybe Gallenstein could possibly start. Also Freshman Stephen Mason who will be a sophomore could start.

No, all 5 of the starters have went there since kindergarten or first grade and I don't see why they would all of a sudden change schools after having the best year their school has ever had. And with a fairly good shot of making it back to Rupp next year they would have to be crazy to leave. I have heard from parents and things and I haven't heard anything about anyone going anywhere.

What did you think about their season, and what are their chances of making it back to the sweet sixteen next season.

I will agree that experience probably had a lot to do with it but you could tell that JBS was getting beat down the floor in the second half, and they aren't as deep as Warren Central.

I am going to watch Warren Central play in the sweet sixteen for the fourth straight year but have never meant to. I watched them play Mason in 2004, south laurel in 2005, Mason in 2006, and now am going to watch them play JBS this year.

I don't think everyone should make the same mistake as they did in the JBS Powell Predictions thread by picking JBS to lose. If JBS plays the same way it will be another win for the Crusaders.

JBS proved the doubters wrong when almost everyone thought Powell would win, how many did the Stepp's and Cox have?

Seemingly everyone picked Powell in this one, they said that JBS wouldn't play team ball. That's why I'm wondering how many the Stepp's have and Cox.

Region, getting to go to Rupp and compete for the big prize would be better.

Well I still believe JBS is better than Hazard, they have just had some bad games. When their on top of their game they can beat anyone in the 14th and come tourney time the crusaders will be on top of their game.

Mason plays extremely well at home, I haven't seen them play on the road. Should be a great game.
