six in a row!! Pretty impressive. This one was the toughest. Game was tied at 50.

I am going to watch Warren Central play in the sweet sixteen for the fourth straight year but have never meant to. I watched them play Mason in 2004, south laurel in 2005, Mason in 2006, and now am going to watch them play JBS this year.

I am absolutely on cloud nine. This was by a lot the hardest region final Central has won the last 6 years. It's not the closest (6 points in 2002), but it was the hardest. Greenwood and Central were back and forth for most of the game. Greenwood led 9-7 after one, 23-22 at the half, and it was tied at 35 all going into the 4th Quarter. Play of the game has to be when it was tied at 50 all, 1:30 left. Instead of running what I call the Holmes offense (2005 Sweet 16, Central holds it from 2:30 until 10 seconds and wins on two free throws), Joe Hood nails a 3 to put them up 53-50. Greenwood turned it over on the other end and Jeremy Anderson gets a basket and the foul with 29 seconds left to drive the dagger in.

Sean Clark was a beast for Greenwood chipping in 21 points and probably shooting the best free throw percentage of his life, hitting 7-8 free throws and only missing one. He was the driving force for them tonight, but it wasn't enough.

Central wins their 6th straight region title at the expense of the Gators, who drop their 23rd in a row to the Dragons.

Jeremy Anderson (my favorite high school player) will play in the Sweet Sixteen for the 5th straight year.. Puts him in the record books with Richie Farmer!

Several other Dragons will join the elite list of players who've played in four straight Sweet 16s. I think the list was 11 a few years ago, and now Central has added at least 6 players to that between the current crop and Troy McFarland.

These days....winning 6 straight regional titles is simply amazing!!! Congrats Central. They are my pick to win the whole thing.
