JBS in front 11-8 after a wild first quarter. Double technicals on the centers from both teams....and a very physical game according to the radio boys. During the technicals Powell's Romans, A VERY key player for them, was called for a personal foul + a technical, so he has 2 fouls in one instance.

Romans has been out of the game, but is back in now.

Game 19-16 JBS.

June Buchanan goes to the break with a 28-18 lead.

Clark Stepp hit a 3 as the first half horn sounded.

Do you have any first half stats?

Keep the updates coming Professor.:thumb:

Powell's Romans has 2 points at halftime and theteam shot 25%.

I will go out on a limb and predict Romans turns on in the second half....but Powell is going to have to shoot a much better % or they are doomed.

In the 56th tournament they couldn't miss. According to the radio announcers they've missed several shots in close. What's with that????

Hey Powell, pretend you are playing either Lee, Estill, or Owsley....and you win this game. It's all about psychology.

Too true, about pretending to be in the 56th. Thanks for the updates, Professor. It really is great for those of us who can't get radio signal inside their homes. :madman:

Seemingly everyone picked Powell in this one, they said that JBS wouldn't play team ball. That's why I'm wondering how many the Stepp's have and Cox.

JBS is up 8 with about 5 or 6 min to go in the 3rd.

JBS up 34-30 with a little over 3 left in the 3rd quarter.....Time out.

Collins has 7 blocked shots tonight.

Dennis hits a 3.

JBS 36-34.

Romans on the line.

JBS 40-36 after Roman's two free throws.

Stepp hits another one at the buzzer. Crusaders lead by 6 going into the 4th.

Dennis is playing a wonderful game.

Romans on the line makes 1 of 2.

JBS is up 2 just within the start of the 4th.

42-40
