Nice win by the Lady Colonels. I saw Scott play recently and I think they have 1 senior in the starting line up, and possibly on the team. I know they start 2 7th graders. Glad to see Tibbs had a nice game. Good for her.

Just curious does anyone know the roster for the Scott freshman team. I know they had a talented 8th grade class last year. Just curious to see if any of the 8th graders were playing on the freshman team this year. I know alot of the 8th graders that played last year were good enough to move up to the high school level, but chose to stay together as a team.

No, Scott does not have a 8th grader dressing varsity. There is a 7th grader who dresses.

This was a great game to watch. Scott has a good team and is going to surprise some people this year.

Final. Hard fought game by the Lady Eagles. Nice team work, girls. Lauren Tibbs from Scott had 33 points, Bethany Pelle had 11, And Shelbi Benzinger had 8. There were a few other girls from Scott who scored, just not sure of their numbers. I am thinking that Katie Allen was the leading scorer for Highlands.

Tibbs is a sophomore, and Benzinger is a senior. Tibbs had 28 points, Benzinger had 23 points, Davis had 7 points. There were a few more girls who scored, but not sure of the stats. Nice first win for Scott. Scott lost 4 seniors last year to graduation, plus a few other girls who decided not to play this year. They have 3 seniors this year on the team. Kaysie is a very good soccer player. With her on the field, St. Henry is going to be even better than they already are.

Is Kaysie Worley playing yet? I know that she had knee surgery awhile back.

I can definitelly see the thought process. Club soccer is a totally different world that high school soccer. There is so much more competition and exposure that the girls can get. However, nothing can take away the experience and memories you make of playing with your high school friends and team mates.
