Come on Flying Tiger, I know it's hard to look past bad performances, but I believe the loss to lincoln will serve as a wake up call rather than a nail in the coffin.

This will be a good test for the Bardstown Tigers. They play a very solid opponent in the Blue Raiders. It's apparent Warren East can pass the ball, and Bardstown's secondary hasn't played well, at least from what I have seen. The key in shutting down WE's passing attack, I believe is good pressure on the QB. The Tigers' offense will have to step it up this week. They have played very sloppy in their past two appearances. Penalties and especially turnovers have plagued the team. To win, they will have to be + in the turnover margin and capitolize on the Blue Raiders' mistakes. Oh, and keep playing defense :ylsuper:

Upset? Yes Bardstown should have won, but i'm not sure about a huge upset.

What's the story here? How did Bethlehem look?

It was a decent game, but John Hardin only scored on big plays, they had no sustained drives. Does anyone know how many first downs they had?

I remember Mayfield's offensive and defensive lines being some of the biggest boys i had ever seen as a sophomore, a tough group.

Bardstown is good, but dont underestimate Lincoln Co., they have a good football team as well, i think it should be a very close game. it may be determined by special teams or field position.

What are your thoughts/predictions for this game next saturday?

Bowling Green is REAL good this year. I'm not sure if the Rebels can keep up.

Mattingly will definitely play and Carter was sick. He is fine now and will practice all week. Those are the only two personnel problems I know of and now they are resolved.

This is true, numbers and stats aren't the whole equation. The crown must be given considering how they performed when the heat was on and when they were tired.

I don't know much about either of the teams this year, but HC's QB, Nauert, is very precise and quick on his feet too. Even if they are having a down year on the line, they will still have the hard-nosed mentality like always.

This is true, The tigers do need a lot of work, but with the hard work they have been putting in up to this point, i think they did well. If they keep working as hard as they have been they will be even better than last year, perhaps better than in 2005. I disagree on the energy though, i think they had lots of energy and lots of intensity. The real test comes in two weeks.

IMO two-a-days are necessary. By doing 2-a-days, you get in two weeks of practice in one. plus, they are fun!

It's between trinity and male, but i will have to go with trinity because they won it all.
