I think if the senior lineman get a hold of their teammates in practice and try to get a sense of urgency in everyone, Bardstown can rebound from this week's debacle and beat WE. They will need a good blitz package to apply pressure, and a much better performance from the secondary. Offense will have to work on not putting themselves in so many 3rd and long situations.

Should be a great matchup between two fast teams. An interesting side note on the game, both Coach Clark (B-town) and Coach Bruni (W. East) played football at BGHS under Dan Haley.

I fully agree with everything that you say this time. This season it looks like its going to have to be the linemen who lead the team.

For the Tigers to win, there secondary will have to play a great game.. W.E. is a big time passing team and can strike very quickly.. I do think BTown will be able to score alot of points. It'll just come down to if they can get pressure on the QB and not give up the big play.. W.E, isnt a team you want to get in a shootout with...

Bardstown defense it capable enoughto shut down the pass. They've allowed like 3 pass TDs over the past 2 years. But will they shutdown the pass is the question?

This will be a good test for the Bardstown Tigers. They play a very solid opponent in the Blue Raiders. It's apparent Warren East can pass the ball, and Bardstown's secondary hasn't played well, at least from what I have seen. The key in shutting down WE's passing attack, I believe is good pressure on the QB.

The Tigers' offense will have to step it up this week. They have played very sloppy in their past two appearances. Penalties and especially turnovers have plagued the team. To win, they will have to be + in the turnover margin and capitolize on the Blue Raiders' mistakes. Oh, and keep playing defense :ylsuper:

Without a major attitude adjustment, I see Bardstown getting ripped in their home opener.

Getting ripped in their home opener will not happen for this senior group who hasn't lost at home in the regular season since 2004. IF the tigers lose it will not be by much. Go Tigers!!!

The LC game was not a good one, but we're getting awfully negative here for just Week 3. Take heart, O Ye Of Little Faith!

Bardstown needs to find another back to back up Scott. His backup got hurt in first game and Scott knee is causing him problems so when he not in the game somebody else has to step up. Need to try some younger guys to see who wants to step up. Also need to open up the passing game when the run is shut down. We have some good receivers in Hickman,Smith,Leggett, and Phillips. Bardstown will be fine just need to work out the growing pains and putting the right people in the right spots.

The younger guys are really stepping it up at practice from what i can see. I am also really hoping that the tigers can use the passing game in these games coming.

Passing game? C'mon guys.

Passing game? C'mon guys.

Come on Flying Tiger, I know it's hard to look past bad performances, but I believe the loss to lincoln will serve as a wake up call rather than a nail in the coffin.

We know Scott can run the ball and Smith threw the ball pretty well to Graves last year. When I say open up the passing game we need to pass a little so teams don't key on Scott the whole game. I have seen Smith in practice and games make good throws and gain alot of yards and he has a few bad throws but I think the good ones out ways the bad ones. Just came from Jv game and two of his targets Phillips and Hickman had good game catching the ball. They are 6"4 and 6"2 and can go get the ball and both will be noticed on the basketball court.
