  1. I want to say Pendleton Co keeps it close for a half and then GRC pulls away in the 2nd half and wins by 15. Anything can happen though, so GRC has to bring their A game.
  2. Boys came to play tonight... now let's focus and take care of Pendleton Co on Monday to complete another step in this process. One game at a time.
  3. Got very nervous there at the end, but we're dancing! This is the only reason I'm not too upset about the Duke game...
  4. Congrats to Pendleton Co. Anything can happen come March... best month of the year!
  5. Call me shocked... Although I never thought Tates Creek would come out of the region, I never would have predicted Central to beat Tates Creek.
  6. What exactly happened that Knowles did? I didn't get to watch the game
  7. Whether they were rooting for Butler or rooting against Duke doesn't matter, it means the same thing. It wasn't at either teams arena but it was in Butler's city. When St Johns plays at the Garden is that not a home game for them? Sure the home team usually gets more calls but that is far from the biggest advantage of being the home team. For one they are in a friendly and non hostile environment and don't have to travel as far if at all. You can say whatever you want, but Butler and Baylor were playing in friendly environments while Duke played in very hostile environments and had to travel way greater lengths in both of these games.
  8. I couldn't disagree with your post any more than I do. Main point in home court advantage comes from the refs??? Seriously man? That was the most hostile crowd Duke could've possibly faced. That and the Baylor game were as close to road games as they could've played in the tournament. I was there for the Final Four games and that whole arena was against Duke.
  9. I don't think I can go wrong with either one, but I'm going to add Ryan Braun to my keeper list.
  10. BYU may get a one seed, I'm not sure if it's deserved but they very well might. Either way, I'd like for Duke to be the 1 and them the 2 or vice versa.
  11. In my opinion, (and Goldie can vouch that it's a good one ), the environment at BOK was not lacking. Especially for the championship game. The only thing that would give the Fieldhouse the advantage would be the tradition and that's just what we are used to, which isn't a bad thing at all. Some people like some change, and others are afraid of it.
  12. Weren't you trying to tell some of us that St Johns wasn't a very good team a few weeks back?
  13. I think (most) everybody got a pretty good draw. Not named Harrison or Campbell.
  14. Honestly I wouldn't mind having Purdue be the #2 seed either. We played the same team (for the most part) last year in the Sweet 16 and handled them. I'd take that game in the Elite 8 with a chance to make the Final Four. Any of those three, I just don't want to have to play the other deserved #1 team before the Final Four.
  15. My Keepers are: Joey Votto Robinson Cano Ubaldo Jimenez TBA Either Braun or Holliday. How did my team not do better than I did? :irked:
  16. I think you caught my post before I added the sarcasm.
  17. I was leaning more towards Chapman than Meek but we were pretty deadset on the others.
  18. Ryan Braun Robinson Canó Kosuke Fukudome Rafael Furcal Matt Holliday Adam LaRoche James Loney Yadier Molina Scott Rolen Denard Span Juan Uribe Joey Votto Delmon Young Pitching Player Bronson Arroyo Chad Billingsley Aroldis Chapman Dan Haren Ubaldo Jiménez Evan Meek Arthur Rhodes James Shields
  19. Who would you guys keep if you had my team? I'd say 3 are definite locks and my fourth could go one of two ways.
  20. Rumors are out there he'll be playing this time next week. If that's true or not... is to be seen.
