  1. I don't see it being as big of a deal as others are making it out to be. It is interesting though.
  2. I don't see your point? Although you did bring up a good point, with the All-A classic. They do have this in place for the so called "small schools" where they have a chance to win a title. Why have classes for something that already has a solution in the All-A and the Sweet 16 is working just fine the way it is?
  3. This college basketball season has been a strange one to say the least... good/great teams playing pathetic all over the country really.
  4. I watched Shelby Valley play Elliot Co a few years back, but I don't believe that was the title game.
  5. Do you want everyone to get a trophy? If you make classes, whenever that DOES happen, it'll take the special moment part out of it.
  6. Lex Cath has had GRC's number as of late. Here's to hoping they reverse that trend in this one.
  7. With classes starting back these past two weeks, I have been MIA on the COD. Hopefully, that'll change in the near future.
  8. I didn't get to see them play GRC, but I'd take Mason by 5-10 pts at home.
  9. Still an unbelievable percentage for almost 30 attempts. Only reason I put Smith ahead as far as POY candidates is because Smith controls the ball more hence him taking more shots and producing slightly more. Talent wise I would also take Singler. But yep, they are all great talents and having great seasons while leading their teams to the top of the rankings.
  10. Ohio St Duke Pitt Texas UConn Kansas BYU Villanova Syracuse and maybe Michigan State.
  11. I hope the teams are counting out Duke just like everybody else seems to be doing...
  12. I would put Smith on the POY list instead of Singler honestly. But the NBA Draft Machine is once again based on potential. That 3 pt state is ridiculous and I can't comment on Williams but I'd take Singler any day of the week over Hamilton. There is room for both in the top 10 though.
  13. I've been watching tonight and I've watched him before tonight too. He's a good, maybe even a great player who will succeed in the NBA. At this point in their careers, I just wouldn't take him over Singler. I'll admit I'm biased but it's hard to argue against his resume. Even if we do include Hamilton and Williams in the top 10, I still feel Singler falls into that category as well which was what my original statement was.
  14. I think you are basing your argument on potential. I'm basing my argument on how good the players are right now and I just don't see it. I'll admit I don't know as much about Williams than I do the others, but there is just no way I would take Selby or Hamilton over Smith and Singler this season.
  15. I can see this being a lose-lose situation for the Cards.
  16. Is Derrick Williams and Jordan Hamilton their teams' clear cut go to guy?
  17. No, that was just a throw in. My main point was did you see their performance in the WHOLE NCAA tournament? If you did then you can't possibly believe your list of players are better than Singler and Smith. I'll give you Sullinger, Walker, Fredette, and maybe Jajuan Johnson and Jordan Hamilton are on the same level as Singler and Smith. If you prefer to have Selby on your team as opposed to Singler and Smith then it's not even worth trying to argue.
  18. I know college basketball, and I knew Perry Jones wasn't on Baylor last year FYI. You just can't get people to buy into your argument with all the players you listed previously.
  19. Do those guys have the team mates the caliber that Singler has? Didn't think so.... Duke is not a 1 or 2 player team. They aren't going to put up 25 ppg. That doesn't mean they aren't better than some that do put up higher numbers. Dawkins, Curry, Kelly, and both Plumlees have each put up 15 pts a game this year.
