Big East is great at quality depth with good teams but IMO we will not see a Big East team in the Final Four because none of these teams are GREAT...

Faried is the best (eligible) big man in the state of Kentucky this season and it's not close. You have obviously not watched Mr. Faried play at all.

With Indiana St winning their conference tournament, that at least gives Morehead St a road win over one NCAA tournament team.

Going by their logic, they didn't win the Big East regular season so they can't be a #1 seed. Here's how I see it shaking out. Duke wins ACC Tournament then they are #1. If they lose in the conference tournament and Notre Dame wins Big East Tournament/goes to finals and loses to Pitt then it's a toss up between Duke and Notre Dame with more leaning towards Notre Dame. If Duke loses before ACC finals and Notre Dame just makes it to the Big East Finals then they are your 4th #1 seed IMO.

That's exactly where I stand. If they come up short in the ACC tourny championship then I have no idea who gets the fourth #1.

Just wondering because I'd like to go, but I would probably not be able to get there until right about tip off.

I honestly think Morehead's best draw would be a 15 seed against BYU. I think they could give them some trouble. Or any team with a weakness down low. I could see Morehead St giving UK fits (although I doubt we will ever find out).

Name 4 teams more deserving of a #1 seed at this point in the season. I'll even spot you three with Ohio St., Kansas, and Pittsburgh.

How can you deny a team 30-4 from being a #1 seed in one of the power 6 conferences?

Only argument I'll make against myself would be Texas. If they hadn't folded those 2 games at the end of the season I might agree, but if Texas wins the Big 12 they'd be pushing a #1, not sure if they'd get it but they'd be close.

With all due respect, I've always placed the Conference tournament winner on a higher pedestal than the regular season winner. If they win the conference tournament, they SHOULD be a #1 seed. Whoever wins the Big East as long as its one of the top 3 teams SHOULD be a #1 seed. Whoever wins the Big 12 between Kansas and Texas SHOULD be a #1 seed. And I think Ohio St. gets it unless they lose today and lose in the first round of their conference tournament.
