This was the Cory Rogers show. At one point in the game he scored 21 stright points for the Cards. Will give stats in a few.

Cards advance to play Tates Creek tomorrow night.

Is there a bracket for the FCIT anywhere online?

Robbie Stenzel 9

Bopper Stenzel 0

Bopper Stenzel did not score but played a heck of a game on both ends with his defense and ball handling.

It is not real clear. I have one the coaches gave me. Tates Creek and GRC are in the semi-finals. Playing now in the lower bracket are: Henry Clay vs Dunbar, and Clay Co vs Lafayette.

A little surprised this one was this close but a W is a W.

Sounds like Cory Rogers played extremely well. Congrats to him and his Cards.

Wins a wins but I thought GRC would handle this game easily..

Bryan Station beat #7 Tates Creek 56-43. I will gladly take this win.

Bryan Station also lost to Henry Clay by 25, and Knott Co. Central by 11.

That is why they play the games. Best over all team dosn't always win...they can be beaten on a given night.

Was at the game last night. Rogers was amazing, but ther rest of the cards looked sluggish and out-of-sync. They did manage to stay 3 to 5 points ahead of B/S, but could never get ahead much more than that.

Bryan Station was scrappy, quick and played tough press defense.

A team as scrappy and quick as BS was using a pressure defense all night using two officials was a bad deal for Clark Co. There must have been at least 30+ fouls that weren't called. I saw some of the scratches on the arms of the Clark Co payers. If you're going to sponsor a tournament, use three officials or don't have the tournament. It was pretty bad last night.

I am not sure why they were only two Ref's for this tournament but a lot was missed during GRC/Bryan Station as well as the game before (T/C vs West Jess)

I agree and was not even there, but any decent game anymore needs 3 officials. The athletes are just getting too big, fast and strong.

I have heard that with the number of Christmas tourneys, the ranks are thin for qualified officials. Maybe someone closer to the KHSAA can answer that.
