Overall talent wise? You don't get an argument from me. Corey deserves this award just as much as anybody else that could have won it too though. I believe you could make a case between 4-5 players this year and all would have been deserving.

4 of them could be put on it and it wouldn't be biased at all IMO. Of course guys like Setty and Gilbert and others on other teams deserve it as well but they can't be punished for being on the same team.

Glad to hear he is back and being able to be effective for at least a portion of his senior year.

Congrats to Mason Co. on this win by the way. Even with HC not having Kiesling, it's a very good win. :thumb:

Works both ways though IMO. He's the main (or only) option, so he gets more shots and chances and is set up better to produce better stats. Robbie shares the shots and the points because the team is so talented and could have 4 or 5 different scorers on a given night. If I needed somebody to make a big shot with the game on the line, or hit free throws with no time left on the clock to win the game, Robbie is my man and it's not even close.

I agree. GRC should be able to win this game. I'll say it'll be another close one like last year though.

I don't believe her point is about the students doing these acts. Her point was about the adults/people in charge of the tournament should have had the right regulations in place to prevent such acts from happening in the first place.

And you have too. Time to move along now... Nothing more to discuss. A regular season game over 100 posts. GRC went on the road against Mason Co. and pulled out a 10+ point win while not playing very well. Mason Co is injured, bla bla bla, they'll be ready for March and so will GRC (if it even happens). Until March, there really isn't much more to discuss. Hopefully it will be a well thought out and planned 10th Region tournament and enjoyed by all involved.

They shouldn't of been ranked ahead of GRC anyways IMO.

Like I've said before, I wasn't at the game tonight so I can't comment on tonight. But from the games I have seen they have totally dominated the boards and in the paint against just about everybody.

Don't be naive to think one poster represents the GRC faithful... the refs are far from our gripe about anything concerning home court advantage. We know they suck anywhere, not just at the Fieldhouse. :lol: Kidding.

With the season GRC has had, what is not to be pleased about? In 2009, injuries are what prevented the team from winning the region. Last year, the team choked but lost in the Fieldhouse. It's a tough place to beat the home team come tournament time. This year won't be any different. If the game was at a neutral site this year, I'd be far less worried.

That record doesn't surprise me at all since all but two of those games have been home games. :sssh:

I'm not quite sure what everybody is getting at... GRC played an OK game, on the road, and won by 13 and people are saying GRC should be worried? Give it up people.

Didn't get to go or listen to the game but from what I hear GRC didn't play all that great of a game. First I've heard of Gilbert injury on here, hope he is OK and not out too long. As for Setty being best player in the region... nope.

Best team those nights... which is all it takes.

Oh I know, I prefer GRC. But the reason you still see Clark Co on the jerseys of basketball and baseball just to name a few of the sports, is because of the history and some don't want that history forgotten.

All has to do with the history is what I've always been told... We won the state title in 51 I believe as Clark Co. and other major wins in other sports under the name Clark Co therefore all/most of the history buffs still want us to go by Clark Co. which we do in most sports.

Impossible. If there was a foul called (non dead ball foul) then there has to be at least .1 seconds left in the game and back on the clock. If this were a college/pro game then time would have been put back on the clock.
