Just curious why Dixie Hieghts gets no consideration here? Scott County at #8 after getting beat by Lexington Christian??

Tough for Tates Creek! They've won 14 of their last 15...the one team they lost to (#9 LexCath, by 1), they also defeated during that stretch...and they also defeated the teams ranked #1 and #2 in this poll....(I understand Jtown was not 100% healthy, but polls should be about the here and now, not what we think things will look like at the end of the year)

 

During that stretch, they've also beaten #16 Madison Central twice and #10 Henry Clay once...

 

Kind of surprising to see the Commodores still at #5... seems a bit low... I'm not from the Lexington area and I haven't seen TC play, so what am I missing here? Is someone out and TC and the pollsters are expecting a drop? TC is 2-1 vs. the four teams above them (lost by 7 to GRC, beat Eastern and Jtown, DNP vs. Ballard) and 18-3 overall... Just looking at things, it's hard to imagine too many "hotter" teams right now than TC...

 

Their lone head-scratcher loss was a 13-point loss to Bryan Station - but that was in the fourth game of the season, on the road, on 12/10/10.

 

Just curious and looking for others' observations...

Combine all three schedules. Any top 20 wins? Rebuilding year for the 9th.

Dixie just lost to Holmes a few nights ago.

Guess Tates Creek really didn't want to challenge for top 3 status...today I questioned why they were ranked as low as #5. Then they go and lay an egg against Paul Dunbar... Guess that answers that question - top 5 or 10 team, yes, but not consistent enough to be able to cement a top 3-level ranking...
