GRC will play Montgomery Co for the 40th District championship on 2/24 at the MCHS Arena. This is the third meeting this season for these two teams. What are your thoughts and predictions?

This is a huge rival game. GRC beat MC in the first meeting, 69-40 and in the second game, 62-53, without Rogers. Think this game will be closer than most are predicting.

Part of the task that Coach Griesser will have will be getting the players to believe they can beat GRC. They got over that hump at Mason County this year and beat Mason County. AT THE FIELDHOUSE!

Montgomery didn't look great against Bourbon last night. They'll have to be much sharper to have any chance against Clark.

Thanks again to Gold Sunrise and Mcraycraft for the updates last nite. Stuck at Home with this lousy cold and unable to make the trip to the game. Clark Co. is a good team with alot of weapons at any given nite. Mont. Co. Coaching Staff can go into this game with a plan to take away Clark's players that have had big games against them. Make someone else stepup and make the plays to beat you. Daniels on top of the Clark's co. defense zone is pretty effective on the defense end and also allows him to run out on offense because He doesn't have to rebound on the Defensive end with Clark's size down low. These allows alot of easy baskets in transition for Clark Co.. Some zone defenses that Western and Lafayette played against Clark were effective at times but Mont. Co. will have to keep changing up the Defensive looks. If Prewitt and Handshoe can have big games. I look for this game to go down to the wire. Good luck to Both.
