I wasn't trying to make an example out of you with the "everyone has brought up the JC schedule thing", I didn't realize you had just joined. But hey, don't worry about it I'm still new also I only joined at the beginning of Oct. And on a football note, even though I am a big JC fan if Rock beats us I will be cheering for them to take state.

Dude, it's my prediction. Why do you feel like everything I say is something against you. I don't care how many points you gave up to Lincoln or Harrison county I just want to talk about the JC vs. Rock game. And yes 35-21 JC, is an interesting prediction but I don't see how it is any more interesting than any of the other 50 blue million predictions on this football forum.

I don't think me saying that we have talked about JC's schedule many times and stating that their weak schedule hasn't hurt them so far is starting anything with you. I was making a point to debate on, not a personal attack on you. BTW, I never gave a prediction for this game. J.C.- 35 Rock- 21

Just because they beat you precious Bluebirds twice this year doesn't mean they are unbeatable like some of you try to make them out to be. Ever think maybe Highlands was down this year.

Whooo! Chill out, the statement you quoted form me wasn't directed at you I only quoted it because it was the first one I saw talking about JC's weak schedule. Don't really understand where you are going with the remarks about a game against Ashland in 2001. What because the stopped Beach 5 years ago they are going to win the game Friday night. And I never said anything about Rock not being the toughest defense JC has faced all year, they very well may shut Grim down, Ashland held him to 47 yards so I'm sure Rock could shut him down as well. Maybe you shouldn't jump other people's post so quick and take offense to them I was just trying to give my opinion that JC's weak schedule hasn't hurt them so far.

Seriously! How many times have we went over JC's schedule this football season here on BGP. There have been countless people that have came on here and posted JC's opponents combined record vs. everyone's else's opponents combined record , all of it is irrelevent. We weren't supposed to beat Ashland the first time either because we had played a weak schedule, we all know how that turned out. Has JC played a weak schedule? Yes. Has it hurt them so far? No. They are 12-0 and playing for a regional championship on Friday. What more could they have possibly done so far this football season. I think it's time to throw the weak schedule stuff out the door.

I think the 3 touchdown passes in the Ashland game has silenced some critics about JC's passing game. But hopefully we won't have to pass the ball to much.

And here are you some suggestions, win regular season game instead of getting blown-out 35-7, then don't have to worry about coming back to JC.

I can guarantee this is not a direct quote from Coach Matney. He has much more class and respect for the Ashland program than to say something like this.

No it doesn't, that's like saying Trent Dilfer is better than Peyton Manning because he has a ring. Not saying Clark is Dilfer and Grim is Manning, but I think you get the point.

Now that you mention it, Grim's running style reminds me of Blair also. I beleive Blair was a little more shifty than Grim, but Shawn has him when it comes to power running and breakaway speed. Blair was a great back though he gave JC fits when we were still in 4A.

Both are great football players, wouldn't a coach give anything to have them both in their backfield. Talk about thunder and lightning!!!

:thumb: Exactly! No way the KHSAA sends Ashland a second place trophy for the game that is going to be played this Friday. They would never do anything like that to try and disrespect a team.

I think you might be leaving out both the JC O and D line when you talk about being physical. Both have been very physical and performed well all year.

Totally agree, JC will only throw in a pass here and there to keep people form stacking 9 in the box against them, which most teams still do anyway even after they have thrown a pass.

We do have the talent to pass I just wouldn't want to rely on having to win a game with our passing. It is probably good enough to keep the monkey off our back but JC might be in trouble if they had to rely heavily on their passing to win. Not knocking JC's passing game at all its just the running game is so much better.

Looked like Clark and Brown both had nice games in that one. I don't disagree with you Greybeard for JC to keep winning they will have to throw the ball some just to keep teams honest.

Lower yourself to JC fans. You have to be kidding. I would bet you could go back as far as you wanted and you would never see JC fans belittle people the way you have tried to do. JC fans showing their excitment for their team and thinking we will win the game is a far cry from what you did. Your post had nothing to do with this game or football period.

This thread was going a long fine until people like you come on here and post this junk. As for your opinion on things, of course you are entitled your own, but the East KY knock was uncalled for. If we are so arrogant,then leave the thread, it would be a lot better without post like the one I quoted from you. Also, I think you are a prime example of arrogance with your post about East KY and the JC fans.
