I'm not sure HRF is supporting Pitino, because I share his same view on this problem. Me personally I wouldn't take Pitino back at UK for the world after what he has done by coming back to coach at UL. What I would take is someone who demands perfection like Pitino in at coach for UK.

First of all I am one of the biggest UK fans around, check the avatar. I have loved UK basketball for as long as I can remember, but never in my life have I dreaded watching them like I have the past couple of years. I just get aggravated watching them and trying to make sense of what has happened to our bball program. Tubby STINKS, bottom line. When it comes to UK standards we need to live up to them, why do we want to fall below UK standards and be satisfied with getting to the second round of the tournament. Not trying to pick on you futurecoach by using your quote, and I know your question wasn't intended for me, but just look at the number of players we put in the NBA now compared to how many we were putting in the NBA 10 yrs. ago. And no final fours in 9 years, and you can't see how Tubby has let the program slip.

This is the first time I have got to post on this thread due to me being away from a computer for a couple of days. First off, I would like to say I have never been more proud of any athletic team from JC than I am of this football team, you guys had a great year and now have something to build our program on. Next, I want to comend CCH, every fan I came into contact with were nothing but a class act and I hope you guys enjoyed your trip to Paintsville, oh and another thing you guys have one of the best high school football teams that I have personally seen in person. So you're what saying is if JC can establish a running game then they have a "chance". In case you forgot JC is favored to win this game. Why do you try to make it sound like if they play great then they have a "chance", as if JC were a 3 touchdown underdog or something. I think JC will win but I also know Rock is a great team, this game will be a knock down, drag out fight.

That's pretty impressive, as a Golden Eagle fan I'm not sure of their all-time record, but I know it is now where close to the all-time record of Rock.

Great article. I have had the enjoyment of watching these two play quite a bit over the last 3 years and I must say it has been a pleasure. Good to see they are getting some recgonition.

I wasn't trying to make an example out of you with the "everyone has brought up the JC schedule thing", I didn't realize you had just joined. And on a football note, even though I am a big JC fan if Rock beats us I will be cheering for them to take state.

Dude, it's my prediction. Why do you feel like everything I say is something against you. I don't care how many points you gave up to Lincoln or Harrison county I just want to talk about the JC vs. Rock game. And yes 35-21 JC, is an interesting prediction but I don't see how it is any more interesting than any of the other 50 blue million predictions on this football forum.

Don't really understand where you are going with the remarks about a game against Ashland in 2001. What because the stopped Beach 5 years ago they are going to win the game Friday night. And I never said anything about Rock not being the toughest defense JC has faced all year, they very well may shut Grim down, Ashland held him to 47 yards so I'm sure Rock could shut him down as well. Maybe you shouldn't jump other people's post so quick and take offense to them I was just trying to give my opinion that JC's weak schedule hasn't hurt them so far.

Seriously! How many times have we went over JC's schedule this football season here on BGP. There have been countless people that have came on here and posted JC's opponents combined record vs. everyone's else's opponents combined record , all of it is irrelevent. We weren't supposed to beat Ashland the first time either because we had played a weak schedule, we all know how that turned out. Has JC played a weak schedule? Yes. Has it hurt them so far? No. They are 12-0 and playing for a regional championship on Friday. What more could they have possibly done so far this football season. I think it's time to throw the weak schedule stuff out the door.

I think the 3 touchdown passes in the Ashland game has silenced some critics about JC's passing game. But hopefully we won't have to pass the ball to much.
