Actually Ashland is now 6-2 with two straight wins since this thread started. Beat Sayre 62-50 and Grant Co. 67-46. Not a bad start. Def. a bad outing against Spencer Co. Looks like they have recovered though. ADI coverage was ok. No feature articles becasue their writers are at the Derby Classic. Why such hatred of Ashland?

Did not say they were on the same level. Hence #2. Cov. Cath is the best. Have not seen anybody better than Ashland's except Cov. CAth. At least Ashland student's are into the game and supporting their team. Give them some credit.

agreed. But he already has won the big dance. It was in Maysville though in a tough 10th region. If given some time he will do the same in Ashland.

Which Ashland scrimmage did you see? Ashland did look bad against Highlands but beat a very good Montgomery co. squad 92-85.

One thing is for sure 1/2 of the Code's will be happy. Camels by 20. Brossart is just no the Brossart of the past right now. They will be back though. they have built a program there and it will rebuild quickly.

So what exactly does Biggs need to do to prove himself? I agree he has not yet accomplished at Ashland what some of the others have but he is in only his second year. They guy averages 20 wins a season and has won four straight district titles and a regional title. Two state wide coach of the year awards, numerous regional coach of the year awards, and has only been a Head Coach for 6 years. give him some time and maybe he will accomplish what some others have?

Everybody is young in this region. Fairview starts 4 underclassmen and Ashland has 6 out of their top 8 retuning next year as well as 20 our of 27 kids being Frosh or Soph's. Elliott has them all back next year and of course RH has several back as well for two more years. Greenup is real young too I believe. Should be a great couple of years in the 16th.

Station by 5. mild upset. Very mild considering their talent level. Both teams will be great. Could very well match up in the state tourney.

Who cares let's get the season rolling. Starts tonight for most teams. Then everybody can talk about the games not the preview.

West by 5. Boyd will get better as the year goes along.

Ballard by 6 at home and no Mackey. Should be great though.

Should be a great one. I"ll take Anderson in a close game at home. Both great coach's and have solid clubs this year.

Don't know about the hill, but Ashlland won over Montgomery 92-85. Ashland played 9 guys including two soph's and a frosh. 5 guys in double figures. :banana: exciting game both teams pressed and run and gunned the whole game.

Ashland won their final scrimmage today against Montgomery co. 92-85. Five players in double figures for Ashland. played 9 guys in and out the whole game. Should be a great year in the 16th. Elliott, Rose Hill even though they lost 90-67 to Mason looked good. Mason is unreal good. Ashland all looking good right now. :banana:

Sweet idea. Would be better against a 10th region foe though. :jump: include some disco music along with the leisure suit theme.
