I am fairly certain that each region has a champion. I"ll give it a try. 1st=Cuba & North Marshall, 2nd= Hoptown and UHA, 3rd=Owensboro, 4th=Warren Central, 5th= Marion County, 6th=PRP, Fairdale, others, 7th=Male & Ballard, others, 8th Scott County 99 before they went to 11th, 9th=Simon Kenton, 10th=Mason Co. & Maysville, 11th Scott Co. Henry Clay, Lafayette, 12th=???? Stuck on this one. 13th= Clay Co. 14th=Carr Creek, Hazard, 15th=Paintsville, 16th=Ashland. I'm sure there are others, 12th has me stuck right now? Any help?

Agreed Don King. Just mentioned Rowe because one of the other posters did. He is gone by his own choice and Ashland has moved on. Hope they get healthy as well. Best of luck to all the teams should be a wild 16th this spring.

If you count Rowe Ashland was without 4 of there top 8 or 9 guys tonight. Illness and injury. Bash them if you want they will be a tough out come March. To go on the road and play East that tough missing 3 key guys bodes well when they get everyone back. One was a stater the other two play quite a bit off of the bench. What is funny is Kouns actaully called the game tonight and Michael Corelone will be happy to know the fouls were basically doubled in favor of East. Radio said something like 28 or 25 to 14 in terms of total fouls called. East had 14 Ashland mid to high 20's.

Actually Mason won it in 1981. Fieldhouse was bulit in 1965 and hosted every year except 1969. Math is a little off. 16 years? or 15 if you discount 1969.

35 seconds not 45. I agree 45 would be counterproductive. Would teams hold it for 35, probably but better than 1-2 minutes that I have seen.

Actually all the Spencer Co. references are moot. If you would check they (Spencer Co.)have won 7 in a row. Besides have not some other teams had a bad day or two? Tonight will tell alot about both teams. Enough said.
