Besides any left over staff members interested in this opening, what other names are being heard?

Are there any quality assistant coaches on staff that could fill the shoes of a Coach Wood?

Congrats on a strong season with a new coach. What do they have coming back next year?

I've lost my mind... where is it going to be this year?

Who is currently coaching at the high school level and has played major college or college baseball? Who has went on to play some professional baseball and come back to the high school level to coach???

Wow, that is a shocker. I am not sure of their record, but wasn't E Town down a little this year? Gray was an assistant at Boone Co. before taking the job at Bellevue, then on to E Town. Great question TigerPaw18.... where is he going

A lot of people in Morgan County thought would have left when the West Jessamine job opened up so he could move back closer to his family. Obviously he stayed another year at MC. We all know that coaching is a lot of work. Football season is even tougher and being a family man with your family 100 miles away has got to be hard. He is a gutsy guy. Wish him the best in his decision.

I was told Wood liked to run things by himself. He is a man that knows what he is doing, meaning he is in total control. He took on the task of starting the rise of the cougar football program and even was the baseball coach for one year. If you listen to Wood, he'll point you in the right direction. No one said you didn't know what you were doing, but wish you the best :thumb:

Norman followed head coach Doug Preston to Louisville for his senior year.

Will he play LB or SS? I know he was a LB at Rowan Co. and a SS I think at Bath. Great kid, and wish him the best:fight:

Is Wood going to remain at the helm of the mighty cougars for another year? How did the banquet go?

Is Wood going to stay in West Liberty?

Where would they play home games? Are they going to build a facility?

Are they going to run an open passing attack offense or a run oriented offense? I assume Zach Moore will have the 4-3 play book on the defensive side of the ball. Good Luck KCU!

Morgan is down pretty bad this year due to age and injuries. Somethings in the water carried over from football. Very disappointing to the Cougar fans, but they will rebound.
