Final from Olive Hill. East goes to 20-8, Morgan finishes 16-10.

Tackett, Sargent and Buck each led East with 11 points. Sargent also grabbed a dozen boards. Tough game for about 3 1/2 quarters. Morgan is a pretty good basketball team. East had a stretch of about 6 minutes in which they went scoreless, which helped Morgan stay in striking distance.

Congrats on a strong season with a new coach. What do they have coming back next year?

Morgan County will be a loaded bunch for the next few years.

4 starters return and basically their entire bench....Leslie Eagle whom is already a 1,000 point scorer is only a sophomore. Dulen, Kelly, and Fugate are Juniors. Williams #4 strong guard is a Freshman along with a good shooting Lara Hembree....they also have two 8th graders who are outstanding in Faith Slone and Tessa Henry. They are a post player away from being dynamite next year...should be a fun team to watch.
