Just read in the local newspaper that Coach Paul Gray resigned from Elizabethtown as a head coach. Who will get this hot job??

Better question where is Gray going?

Wow, that is a shocker. I am not sure of their record, but wasn't E Town down a little this year? Gray was an assistant at Boone Co. before taking the job at Bellevue, then on to E Town.

Great question TigerPaw18.... where is he going

According to the article:

"Gray said right now he plans to stay at Elizabethtown, where he teaches freshman English."

I guess this is a questions for someone who gets to see this team on a regular basis:

Does E-town have the same caliber of athletes that it did when Brett Burnett left?

E-town seems to be one of those schools that is always in the mix. The new six class system could be very good to them.

No. There were 3 D1 athletes on that last team of Burnett's in Todd, Duncan, and Deaderick. The team has potential, but are not at all at the level they were a couple years ago.

E-town has talent, always has, always will. If this new 6 class system is going to be beneficial for anyone, then E-town needs to be it's 'Poster-Child'. I have a couple names that E-town should give the job too, and if they gave it to either one of these men, then everybody in E-town needs to be ready for immediate success. I'll save the names for a later time. It just depends on how committed the powers to be at E-town are to wanting their football program to not just win, but annually compete for a ring every year.

Paul was also an asistiant at Lloyd during the 2003 state semi season. Good luck to Paul wherever he goes. He is a good coach and a good man.

Paul is a great guy, as most will attest.

From B-town to E-town, he has done his very best.

In college, he was quite the quarterback.

But as a head coach, it is leadership that he lack.

I hope we have not seen the last of Paul Gray.

For him, a job in football is what I will pray.

A poet and didn't even know it.

His posts seem to rhyme all the time.

Haikus anyone?
