I've been to all Russell home games and have been quite surprised by this years attendance, considering a 4 and 18 record and the weather. Last years was horrible. This year the dance teams, color guard, and pep band have really increased ticket sales. The student section actually has been pretty full, not creative or loud but full. Despite the record Russell has been fun to watch and the JV team is 11 & 4. Having said that I hope Elliott Co brings their cheerleaders so they can play the second half. LOL :isurrender:

I don't have dog in this fight but from what I've seen players aren't being utilized to their fullest potential. During the Ashland game Russell's point guard was sitting in the stands because she was stressed out over AP classes. Give me a break. Simpson always taking the ball out of bounds, she should be the best outlet. Russell by 8

I was sitting in the middle of the Lewis Co section at the Russell Panorama. I asked who he was and forgot his name. He wore 41 which is Brandon Vaungh who I thought was a soph but is listed as a jr. Who ever it was he was a brute.

Russell is going to be fine. This year the boys play ball like they enjoy it. I think this year they suprise some teams with their speed and hustle, will win 6-10 games. Next year they will be over .500. The following year will be a regional contender.

Lewis Co. by double digits, Ashland without Bonner can't handle the big sophmore in the middle.
