Final

Thanks for the info!!! Didn't know this one was being played tonight. Anyone have details about Saturday's scrimmage?

Great start for the defending champs.

Anyone have the details on this game? How did Greenup County look?

Knew this wouldn't be close. Way to go Mason Co.

Adkins appeared to be the only player not intimidated. He played full tilt the whole game.

Uh, not trying to be sarcastic, but they probably didn't look too great in this one.

Mason County was playing without Downing? Correct? Anyone have details?

That is correct. Mason could name the score in this one. Middleton is a very nice player and GC had no answer for him.

They were without Hamm as well.

They were without Hamm as well.

I wondered about him. Why were these two out?

That kind of score without 2 starters? All I can say is wow!

Not suprised here. Greenup Co will strugle in the 16th, which is a weak region with the expection of Elliott Co.

Mason Looked good on Defense,Missed a ton a of wide open layups though. The Royals was without 2 starters tonight Keith Downing and Ryan Hamm and a 3rd starter in Neal Pawsat didn't start and only played a very few minutes as he was just coming out of Football Friday night.Greenup looked very green{no phun intended} with there school colors either.Lots of turnovers by the muskies lead to easy open shots for Mason even though the Royals missed a bunch of easy layups.Overall a very good start for the defending state champs and i believe when they get back to 100% with all there players and the football guys whom just started practicing yesterday get in the groove,They just might have a say in how the 10th plays out after all i don't believe there ready to hand it over to the Cards just yet.:thumb:

I have to disagree with you on this sunrise, Mason is an excellent team and it was good experience for the Muskies to go play the tradition that Mason brings to the court, but Coach Fraley will have them ready to play when it counts, just watch and see, they will be competitive in the 16th, with the exception of Elliot.. Give Coach Fraley time and he will have a contender in a couple of years and will be competing within his schedule this year.

Keep your head up GCHS.:thumb: and have faith in Coach Fraley.
