Final

Congrats to the Lions! Any details?

Lewis was up big by like 15 and the Hill come back.

Mike Terry was the best player on the floor.

Lewis Co had 4 starters out the last 8 min ,it looked like they could have won by 20 .Terry is the real deal and fun to watch.:thumb:

Rose Hill started three freshmen, one sophomore, and one senior. They will be fine with some experience. Uncle Jed is certainly correct that Mike Terry was the best player on the floor in the first game. It is nice to hear ZoneBuster23, a true Ashland partisan, call Terry "the real deal". The last time I heard that term in regard to a Rose Hiller was when it was said about Mayo. Of course, Terry is not remotely on the level of the now millionaire Mayo but, then, no one around here ever was at that level.

All in all, if anyone from the 64th District attends the state tournament, it will certainly be as a spectator.

Terry was the best player on the floor, but like most kids his age he got pushed around. Very impressed with the big kid from Lewis, I heard it was his first high school game, odd for a senior. Royals role players from last year just look like they are trying to figure out their roles this season and I think they will be fine. Lewis needs to better shot selection for sure, but not bad. I thought Smith played well also.

Who's Rose Hill's head coach ?

Terry played extremely well on both ends of the court, but the point guard from Lewis also played extremely well almost matching Terry bucket for bucket. At some points in the game it looked like no one on RH wanted to shoot the ball, or they didn't know who was supposed to shoot the ball. I was impressed with the way that they came back though it showed a lot of poise from the young kids. I think RH will be fine by tournament time. They just need to get used to playing with Euton and Jackson.

John Bush

He coached very hard for a scrimmage, as guess that comes with experience.:D

Unless you know something we dont, RH will need to get used to playing WITHOUT Euton and Jackson. Terry is a very good ball player, but they will need others to score as the season rolls on. Terrence Smith is a great player for LC, and this was the big guy Chris Thompson's first organized game as far as I am aware.
