While Perry Yates is highly thought of, I do not see Russell hiring a Paraprofessional as head basketball coach.

I watched Russell play this year when they visited Boone Co. Even though we won the game, I was impressed with Coach Kidwell in the fact that he kept coaching his girls until the buzzer sounded.... I am confussed. Have you seen her play or not.

I understand emotions get the best of players sometimes and I have no problem with it. But why did the officials not call the T.

Are the officials from the 16th going to be in better or worse than what we see everyday in the 9th? Do they let them play or call it tight? Is anyone familiar with the 16th and the 9th?

I would want to play either of them if my other choices were Rowan, Ashland, or Raceland.

Have a friend that directs one of the bands in the 63rd. The bands are not crazy about going to games 4 days in a row and then maybe driving to Morehead 6 nights the next week. If they play the boys games they must do the girls.

I am hearing the bands are back and they are not happy about it. What are you people down ther hearing. Greenup admin. reconsidered?

Not very many teams match up with Montgomery. They not only have good size inside but their guards are very talented. Anything can happen but It will be hard for any team in the region to beat them.

I think 1500 is a very good possibility for this young lady. We all know rebounding is just a matter of work and want to. This young lady proves it.

Talked to someone at the Raceland Lewis girls game tonight. Big district game but no pep band. If they do not do home games they probably would not travel anyway.

I keep hearing about the young Devils and tried to see how young they are. If their website is right they are starting 4 seniors. Is this correct?

I have always thought they should wear a shirt and tie on the road. The coach also should wear a tie. I was told a long time ago by an old school coach that a casual appearance leads to a casual effort.

Actually in most cases the visiting team brings a ball with them to replace the game ball. If they forget they will borrow one and replace it later.

Any news on R Vanderhoof yet? I would hate to see any young lady go through ACL surgery 3 times.

All districts should seed. In a four team district everyone should vote to seed unless they are the fourth seed every year.

Is there anything to report on a team at Boyd Co. I would love to see the sport pick up in the 15th as well. I do understand that it puts some title 9 pressure on AD's, but it is a great sport. Yea, I know girls are welcome but they are rare.

Very nice facility. I am sure it will get plenty of use this year and more in the future. We have very few options for good indoor track meets at the high school level. I am looking forward to the Jan 19th event.
