16th62nd Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Tough year for Tomcat sports! Thank goodness for the Kittens!!
star19 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Congrats to Greenup. They played good ball tonight as Middelton and Baker continued to play good. Hope they keep it up through districts. Tomcats are having trouble right now but will get things going come tournament time hopefully.
lewiscoref Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 SHOCKED! Greenup Co. has been playing better but are they that much improved since a month or so or did Ashland have a truly terrible game?
HOOKSHOT Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Wow. This will be a busy thread. Congratulations to Greenup Co. The basketball Gods have spoken !!:ylsuper:
cvillecat Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Tough loss for the Tomcats. Congrats to Greenup County on the "W".
FBALL Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Shocked! I know Ashland has been struggling but I never saw this one comming. Congratulations to GC.
oldrambler Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Wow. This will be a busy thread. Congratulations to Greenup Co. Wow is right, I never would have picked this one, great job by the Muskies.....Congrats.
racer4life Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 SHOCKED! Greenup Co. has been playing better but are they that much improved since a month or so or did Ashland have a truly terrible game? Sounds like Ashland may be just that bad right now.
spindoc Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Okay, I'm gonna say it. I wasn't, but I'm gonna. This Tomcat slide is as bad as Tommy "Gunn" Morrison's acting in Rocky V or VI or whatever it was. And I never did like that movie since there tried to spoof yours truly with some cockamamie bozo promoter. Ashland can't feel too good about advancing in the post season against Fairview. I wonder if there's any traditionalists over there that might be able to tell this old goat if and when there's ever been a year where Ashland missed the postseason in football and basketball. I sure hope that coach Biggs can get something ironed out. That fella always has a puncher's chance. Only in America, baby!
LRCW Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 My goodness. It seems the wheels have fallen off. I am shocked. :scared:
Dan Tanna Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Who was it that said Ashland would probably get better since the one kid quit the team? Congrats to Greenup. I know Ashland has had a rough year all the way around with the football team, the flooding of the gym, but I wouldn't have guessed this in a million years.
fridaymorning Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Just want to say, Matt Thomas made an awesome 4 point play and almost pulled it out for Ashland, he is fun to watch. The T on Biggs was sweet too.
