A family member kept stats to keep occupied when nervous for his son and to keep from yelling at the refs. Had nothing to do with the coach or playing time. Coaches who are doing a good job shouldn't worry that stat keeping has anything to do with them.

Telling the ref what to call every trip down the floor.

Just want to say, Matt Thomas made an awesome 4 point play and almost pulled it out for Ashland, he is fun to watch. The T on Biggs was sweet too.

Where would the line be, between punishment and abuse?

Thanks for the welcome, Why don't they make "regular students" run as a form of discipline?

I would just like some opinions on running as punishment. Example, team does poorly in a game situation. Next practice coach runs them unmercifully until many are throwing up. No dribbling, or ball-handling just running. This seems abusive to me, but would like others input.
