LCA by 21, LCA has scrimmaged East Jessamine and got beat, played Mercer and got beat pretty bad, and they beat Desales. CAL got hammered by Holy Cross and nearly was tied with KCD in the 4th quarter. LCA has got beat by good teams. They will be okay this year. I predict 6-4 for the season.

It may be true that they don't get the ball. If they are your best players you should put them in key positions to make plays.

The bad thing that I have heard about this offense is it's predictability. According to my sources there is only a few plays where the fullback/guard doesn't take you to the ball. But I haven't seen it in person, that is from a coach that has played them.

Pikeville will be fine once they get to their district. May not be a great year but a average year for Pikeville is better than most teams can manage in class A in the mountains. East and Henry Clay are pretty darn good. I don't think East Kentucky University would do very well again West Virginia, it's just a different world no matter what type of offense you run. The main things is get your kids to believe in your system and play in games you can win. Pikeville killed Corbin last year in the same bowl game. Has coach J forgot how to coach since then? Absolutely Not.

I think Woodford takes this one by 14 points. East is much improved but hasn't played teams that have the ability of Woodford.

What is the current enrollment of Mercer County High School? I agree they are for real and have a very good chance to win 2A.

Pikeville will be better as the season goes along. East is very fast on defense and Henry Clay is beating Boyle pretty bad.

Fullback-Chris Maynard looked very good, I know he was at 169 yards and 2 TD when I turned off the radio. Matt Reho looked really good at LB, he was all over the field.

They didn't get a new coach, Mike Jones is still calling the plays but he wanted to change the offense.

Lincoln turned the ball over way to much to win the game. LC is a decent team but not to many people are going to be able to run option against PRP and have good success.

Early 4th quarter EJ-48 PC-0. Domination by East Jessamine, Pulaski looks terrrible.

Estill County will not be very good this season. I'll take Letcher by 35. Estill is trying the Mumme ball which is not their stength in my opinion. They had a great offense a couple of years ago, but it was all running plays.

They do have a pretty good youth program.

Powell has never had a winning season. They went 5-5 one year. Powell may enrollment that is high but doesn't get alot of kids out for football that can play at a high level. The administration has made it clear that the off-season program isn't required, therefore athletes tend to not commit. Bruce Jones has done a pretty good job there with discipline during the season, but there isn't commitment from the players and administration.

Is West Jessamine not very good this year? What type of offense and defense are they running this year with the new coach?

How did the Ammons kids do? I have seen him multiple times and he is one of the best QB's I have seen in Central Kentucky. I believe his running ability makes him better than anything else that he does. This kid can make people miss tackles.

Rockastle is loaded this year, I look for them to win the region. I watched NL over the summer and was really dissapointed with how they did in some passing tournaments. They have some good looking kids but this may be a long season for the Jags.

East is better alot better than last year, they have alot of seniors.

Has Berea hired a coach?

East Jessamine dominated this scrimmage. The Eagles are young but will get better from playing good competition early. LCA could not move the ball at all, but it does take time to get the spread offense together.
