I will say this about moving up, when this was presented to coaches it was for them to have an even number and bring teams to an even playing field. All I know is if one can move up they all should be allowed to move up and it sure lloks like the ones with influence got what they wanted while others were given some BS excuse why they couldn't. That is not fair, weather it is Highlands or East Jessamine, it should not matter.

Jamming a receiver acrossed the middle can and does happen with out a pentaly unless the QB has started to throw the ball. Now on the outside it will be called more likely defensive holding but he can have contact until the ball is thrown that is the rule.

Was Dunn playing another position or has he always been the back up. I hate to hear this news about Rouse, he was truely putting up some great numbers and was showing sign of being a true leader of this team. How will this effect their offense, especially since they were passing so much

I think your efforts are great and you bring up a good point. But if every team in Ohio made it then it would be March before it is over. KY does have a unique situation and one that has been address and changed over the years and everytime we change it has been a good thing. i am not say that 6 classes is the right choice but give it a chance before we shoot it down. If in 2 years it isn't working then they will probably change it again. To me tell me who we are going to play and we will go play. Let the politians do what they need to do and the football teams go play football. I hope that football continues to grow. A lot more kids are getting exposure through the expanded playoff system and technically a coach is getting at least 4 more weeks of practice by making the playoffs with a kid from freshman to senior year. But I do believe that you have some valid points but I will say that Ohio is NOT the right model for KY

If you only measure a job by wins and losses then you are probably right. They have only had football for 16 years. I think the coach has done a great job at getting the kids and the community involved into football, it is not like Highlands, cov cath and South Oldham the past couple of years have been bad you know. I am sure Garrard County has improved alot since coach Stonebreakers arrival and they will continue to improve but you must judge success at a program level and I think that coach Davis is doing a great job at that, win/loses will come. The schedule he played the last 2 years was not his, but the previous coaches. Keep up the good work things are coming around for the braves

It will be interesting to see how both teams respond to coming off loses and I believe the team that does not make the mistakes will win and could win big.

Is the Cox kid playing another position or just riding the pine. Do you think that Owen can handle the power running game and the versitle QB for Grant?

I have read on here that people are disappointed with the offense and the QB issue, who will the QB be this week?

should be a great ballgame, I don't know much about J-town but Anderson Co. is huge. I imagine that Coach Peach will have no problem defending the run but I do not know if J-towns team passes the ball much like Grant Co. did. But whoever wins will definately have the upper hand in the district.

I heard the coach was looking for more intensity out of the braves this week. I say the braves continue to improve and make a statement to their coach that they are a intense bunch of kids ready to compete at a high level.

Grant had opportunities to win the ball game but just could not put it in the end zone when needed. The team from Grant looked good throwing the ball and had trouble running against the size of Anderson. Great game by both teams, looks like the district has alot of parity and should be a good race to the finish.
