Wow, Scott County cold have had 3 DI seniors last season and potentially I would say at least 6 players on thir roster could turn out to play DI.

That DS Team has alot of talent this year probabily more so than in the past.

Thomas More gets some pretty good talent, a kid from the 15th region went there a year or so and played. He was probabily one of the top prospect to come out of our area potentially but he couldn't make the grades I believe, its a tough school.

Shiwa Gima will be awfully tough also next year.

Arrez Henderson-Holmes he will be the man in the 9th region next season, as well as throughout the state.

I knew he would go somewhere bigger than Transylvania.:thumb:

Possible DI... Aaron Morris-Madison Central Tyler Brown-Apollo Victor Moses-Henry Clay Landon Slone-Paintsville are 4 more that I think have a shot.

It dosen't hurt, Scott County had guys last season that could have been stars on any other team bing 7th and 8th men off the bench ther if that is any indication of how good that team was.

I'm not real sure about the 1st question. Floyd County passed a rule not allowing Principals to be head Coaches and that pretty much took Brent Rose, Betsy Layne's Coach, out of his coaching job considering he was a principal. I think SC's coach was eighter fired or resigned. Not sure about girls coaches.

I think Rady Martin will more than likley be the Head Coach at SF, he's on their staff and is probabily the best coach(who's not a head coach) in the region. Not sure about BL & SC.

My prayers and thoughts are with him, but a positive thing is that he lived his life for god and is truly in a better place. Sorry to everyone for their loss.

Transy is a good school with a outstanding basketball program, but I believe Hammond could play somewhere bigger than that, Mid-High DII(Bellermine,KY Wesleyan...etc), or small DI(Morehead,East Tennesse State, Tennesse Martin, Radford...etc), or Even High NAIA DI(Georgetown,Mountain State,Martin Methodist, Lidnsey Wilson...etc). Tradition wise Transy is one of the top DIII programs in the country though as well as education wise. Eighter way he still gets to play 4 more years of the game he loves while getting an Education.

Yeah, I noticed that when Stepp was 2nd team. Talent will get you farther than Politics in this game, because fans can see whats going on. Politics may get you farther in life though...lol:D

Size will hurt them alot but mostly on the defensive end, offensively the roster is packed with athletes and Shooters and they should have no problem scoring. They will not blow this Indiana team out but they could win one or possibly both games. Its basketball, and the way the game is played today it takes alot to suprise me and if KY sweeps Indiana I will not be shocked in the least, but on the other hand I will not be shocked to see Indiana win bot games by 20+. Its really according to wich team comes to play. BTW Coleman can more than hold his own with anyone in the Easter side of the united states down low.

Did anyone else notice VanHoose got HM all state from Paintsville but Slone wasn't on the list?? Whats the deal there??

I'm not saying he didn't look bad in tryouts, and I'll take your word for it because I wasn't there but he was one of the top players I saw this season, just judging by that.:thumb: How did Jamie Case-Belfry, Jamie McCarty-Johnson Central, and Justin Hicks-Hazard look during tryouts?? I also thought Trotter from Cristian County would have had a good shot at making the team.

Really the only real suprise is the kid from Trinity making the team, but I figured Miller from Central Hardin would make the team.

Stepp 2nd team?? Thats crazy.
