According to a post by Homeless Camel Elliott only scored 4 points from 7 minute mark to :58 to go in the 4th Q. P'vlle stepped up the "D"on the big 3 & almost let the 2 other Elliott players alone. One Elliott kid had numeous open shots but would not take them, do not get me wrong he played very hard & had a really good game otherwise. Like Bogey Man said earlier possibly just overwhelmed. While Elliott could not score Maynard is sitting on the bench watching the game with the coaching staff! I kept asking myself why is he not in the game? Why not do the "Offense-Defense switch" like most good coaches do. Even if he does not touch the ball his presence would at least draw some attention & free up a little more for the Big 3. Really Vanhoose as opposed to Slone? What do you mean how does he cause more problems for Elliott than Slone or anyone else?

Yes the 5 Soph's have the potential & the experience to do just that. Throw in Maynard, Greene & the 8th grader Knipp they have the potential. Accomplishing it may be another story but it should be a good game either way.

Elliott led by 13 at the half, led by 22 when Ferguson was hurt at a little over the 2 minute mark of the 3rd. Seems everytime Elliott looked like they were pulling away Greenup gets some buckets. I do not recall GC being within 10 in the 3rd but I could be wrong.

I'm sure this score really surprises the 16th as Greenup had been playing some good ball since the break. GC saw that you have to be aware of others than the big 3 at Elliott.C.Knipp had a great game on both ends, Maynard 4-5 from 3 land, T Knipp & Greene in the scoring column early.

Haven't Elliott & Fairview cancelled this game for each other the last 2 years when each were in the All A State the upcoming week?

Amos I think what other posters are saying is its ture he is getting touches but also obviously true you can see him open 5-6 times each game & does not get those touches. Instead you will see a 1 on 3 or some other difficult or bad shot. Last night I saw it. If the ball was dished to him or one of the others posted up on a wing it would only make those takes to bucket a lot easier & Elliott even more difficult to defend.Do not get me wrong I am glad the team is doing as wel as they are but I think thats what others mean on their post.
