Ferguson's Injury

Featured Replies

Ferguson has a severely sprained ankle!! It is being worked on heavy duty!! As

of right now it dont look good for the All A. Will keep you all posted!!!

Some are saying he is going to play not sure about that but I can say it will just be four days after the sprain and he will definately not be 100%. I have saw his ankle and talked to him and he will be lucky to be 60% if he even play's.

Don't know who Ferguson is or who he even plays for?? Is even good?

Didn't think I would have to explain if youve read very many post on this first page about four or five tells who he is, and who he plays for. As to the question is he any good that would just be a matter of opinion!!!!!

From someone who knows about ankle injuries its better to let it heal than try and play hurt. If its doesnt heal 100% and you play, you are risking your entire career.

Thanks for the update sportsfan.:thumb: I do hope that he can play but I wouldn't want him to risk the rest of the season or much longer. Kids want to play, he is a competitor. He has got a bright future and as much as it hurts him now that he maybe will not be playing it is best in the long run if the kid would be taking any kind of risk on his future. Keep you head up J. Ferguso, there will be better days ahead. Here is prayers from this one Raceland fan that you will be able to play but more important that you will make a complete recovery from the injury and be able to play the game you love far into the future.:thumb:

 If you are asking "if he is even good" what does that even matter? The kid obviously has a bad ankle injury and most I believe are wishing him a recovery from it. I don't think that "how good" that he is has anything to do with it  . By the way, Yes he is very good.

Hope it heals soon, tough loss for Elliott if he can't go.

If I know Ferguson, and I do, he will be on the floor in Richmond.

According to another source in this forum it doesn't sound so positive, and that from someone who knows as well. 60% won't get it done vs. most competition, let alone those representing each region in Richmond. Again, I hope you're right and he is healthy. But to delay healing by going out there on a bum wheel may make things worse.

A player with a severe ankle injury can actually do further damage to the ankle if he plays before it's pretty close to healed. Elliott County has too much season left to risk losing him to more injury.

And he could also possibly hurt the team in Richmond if he plays hurt.....remember Bogans hobbling around against Marquette in the 2003 NCAA regional finals. It was sad. He was in slow motion and couldn't guard anyone, much less do much on offense.

Hope ferg heals and is able to play at 100% his next time on the floor. As for the northern ky. poster ("is he good"), no he isnt we just talk about every teams 3rd player off of the bench spraining an ankle. Yes he is good, he is a super player, hence therefore we post about him and his status of his injury.

I guess we will wait and see. I wish him a speedy and full recovery. He is a great kid and remarkable player with a ton of heart.

Your are joking? How can you be on this site since 2004 & not know who this kid is?

First off I'm from NKY and have never heard of this kid because I've never seen Elliot or have any reason to watch Elliot. Never even knew Elliot was any good until I saw a few post this season. I am concernd for the boys injury but if since I had no clue who he was then I then I had the rite to ask who he was. What if he was some members son and the boy just played 4 minutes a game for some school in the mountains that I don't pay attention to very often.

My point was it would have been nice to include the boys full first name and the school he attended and even possibly why the injury was so devastating.
