Thanks IMOM, I see that UHA plays Heath, does anyone know anything about this team? I'll pop onto the scoreboard to see their record but, I was wondering if any of you have seen them play this year!

I will be pulling for the 16th representative Elliot Co. but the thing is my 2nd pick/favorite would be their 1st round opponet in Paintsville. Those are not my picks to win it just that I will be pulling for the winner of that game regardless.

To bad the touney may not see Elliott Co at full strength. A team everyone would enjoy watching with their style & effort as you would not see a harder playing team.You had to like their chances prior to Jonathon "I will not be denied" Ferguson being hurt. Very strong field, with a balance in the brackets. UHA out of the top with a determined Gallatin that could suprise. The bottom is loaded with teams that have made multiple trips. Does Somerset finally get the job done or will Bardstown smoke everybody with speed and quickness. Your guess is as good as mine. Marty Cline doesn't coach at University Heights anymore ... this is his second year coaching Madisonville's girls.

Heath went 2-1 at Paintsville's tournament at Christmas ... I would like to know what the fans up there thought of the Pirates.

 

They have the ingredients to beat UHA ... a real good guard in Andrew Baer (60 points and 12 assists in his last two games) and size up front (6-8 Max McConnell and 6-5 Seth Hart) to match up with the Blazers.

Both brackets are stacked! This may be the best field I've seen in a few years.
