Great high school game. Both Estill and Powell will be tough to beat in the 14th.

Corey Brewer on the mound did not have is best stuff, but the grittty senior stuck it out to get the win. Russ Dotson, Sean Ryan, Daniel Kinser and Devon Pelfrey had big games at the plate for the Pirates.

Powell went out to a 12-1 lead and coasted in the second game. Seth Profitt pitched five innings and Daniel Kinser pitched the last 2. Powell's hitting is coming around, the 5 seniors have been consistent in the early season, now the other kids are beginning to step up at the plate.

Knott took control of the game in the second quarter. They outscored Powell 14-3 in the quarter. Mosley was too much in the second half. Megan Mosley had 23 points and Sammy King had 20 points for Knott Central. Ashley Lacy had 15 points and Courtney Jones had 10 points for the Lady Pirates. Congrats to the Lady Patriots on the win and to the Lady Pirates for a great season.
