Errors seem to be killing Montgomery Co. 6 in this game and I think they had 8 when they played Scott Co. last week.

Errors seem to be killing Montgomery Co. 6 in this game and I think they had 8 when they played Scott Co. last week.

 

MC had 5 errors in the Scott Co. game, LOB was 8, still to many errors to beat good teams.

Powell went out to a 12-1 lead and coasted in the second game. Seth Profitt pitched five innings and Daniel Kinser pitched the last 2. Powell's hitting is coming around, the 5 seniors have been consistent in the early season, now the other kids are beginning to step up at the plate.

the problem with montgomery county is when they want to play they are capable of beating most people in the state, but when they aren't excited and ready to play they don't seem to be focused, so they make a lot of mistakes. There bats have been consistent; when you score 8 and 6 runs in games you should win. Pitchers have to start getting ahead of batters and throwing strikes and the defense has to step up, because the bats are there.
