I think three of the best in the 10th are Bennett (GRC), Ginter (Montgomery), and Eversole (Montgomery). Bennett has already signed with Western hasn't he? I heard Eversole is playing at Berea in the fall, and I haven't heard anything about Ginter. Eversole is batting in the high .400's and Ginter is batting in the low .400's.
the problem with montgomery county is when they want to play they are capable of beating most people in the state, but when they aren't excited and ready to play they don't seem to be focused, so they make a lot of mistakes. There bats have been consistent; when you score 8 and 6 runs in games you should win. Pitchers have to start getting ahead of batters and throwing strikes and the defense has to step up, because the bats are there.
you can say that it was Clarks fault they didn't capitalize on oppurtunities, but give Montgomery some credit for not getting discouraged and pushing through opstacles they really are showing resiliency.
This Montgomery County team is looking like they are ready to break their season open. Tough loss to Scott Co. when they didn't play well, and a tough loss to Letcher Central after they had an emotional game with Perry Central. This team is ready to make a run
