Who are the best teams thus far?

The top 3 or 4 teams I think have been established in Harrison County, Scott, GRC and Montgomery County, after that I think there is a bit of a drop off.

 

Here is my rankings:

 

1) Harrison

2) Scott/GRC

3) Scott/GRC

4) Montgomery

I would agree that these teams have seperated themselves from the rest of the pack.

Harrison Co. GRC other than that its all a toss up. I think we know though some teams that have seperated themselves. But it is still who gets it done at the end of the season, and I think its to early to tell. But those two teams are clearly at the top right now.

How is Scott not up there? There only bad loss was to St. Henry the 1st game of the season and after that they've played as good as anybody.

True there is no excuse for that. I know the day of that game, Adams got the start and it was his first in a year since he hurt his arm and Adkins came in after he struggled and he had only a week of practice. And before that Scott apparently didn't practice that whole weekend for some reason before the game that monday versus the crusaders. I know those are probably some excuses but they probably explain the loss. Now they are playing great and practicing almost everyday except game days.

Scott is off of there because they would be blown out of the water by either Harrison Co. or Clark Co. as many other teams in the 10th would be as well. I think some need to get off the "Scott" parade and get to reality for a bit, they might be an average to an above average team but don't compare yourself to Harrison co. thinking you should be named in the same breath as them right now, i mean really...

What about Montgomery they just got another district/region win.

They lost to Conner last night 14-4.

To say Scott would get blown out of the water is far from the truth. Are they up there with Harrison and Clark, well no, but to say they can't compete, well thats just ignorant. I guess we will find out next monday when Harrison comes up to Scott. The region this year is 5 or 6 deep and anyone of Harrison, Clark, Brossart, Campbell, Scott, or Montgomery could win the region. Harrison is the favorite, but their isn't a big drop.

Scott last night against Conner did not show any signs of being a top team.. I know nothing about Harrison Co. this year but if they are anything like the Harrison Co. teams from the past, Scott isn't in the same league as The Breds. How is Harrison Co. this year?

Harrison beat Clark Co. tuesday 5-1. Giving up the only run in the bottom of the 7th inning. Brandon Martin pitched a 1 hitter. :thumb:

If Scott is ranked 2nd in the 10th, it will be a sad, sad year for this region.

If they are as good as you say then IMO I would say Scott stands no chance in the 10th
