As goldenrule said you could be thinking of Vee Sanford he is #11 but you could also be thinking of Taylor Botkin #32 for LC. I can remember Tubby Smith coming to see a few of Taylors games. Vandy reps had been coming to watch Jordan Smart and Vee must have caught their attention and I hear they will be watching him a lot next season.

Lexington Catholic's 2006 state champion team (35-5). There were 4 seniors, the best being Michael Fahs who plays D1 college baseball. The junior class consisted of Ben Revere, State Tourny MVP and 1st round draft pick(currently in the Twins organization), Taylor Hatfield who plays at Cumberland in Tenn who is a top NAIA school, Jordan Root who plays at Eastern Kentucky, Travis Redmon who plays at Morehead, Wes Caldwell who plays football at baseball at Mid Tenn St. Justin Riddell who plays at Cincinatti. John Weaver who plays at Virginia. That makes 5 D1 players and a future major league player. Likely one of the most talented teams in Kentucky history and had the heart to win the title. The team was ranked as high as 4th in the nation during the season.

At the Lexington Catholic game today there were nearly 30 scouts watching Maronde

Hats of to HC, beating the #1 and #2 teams back to back is pretty huge. Great season knights just couldnt do it tonight. As of now HC is my favorite to win state the way they have been playing as of late.

It looks like LexCath is hot at the right time! I look for them to play solid D and win by at least eight.

Big payback win for the Knights from last years semi's. Cant wait for Lexcath and BS to sqaure it off 1vs2.

Administration doesnt want to put the effort into it. Students are becoming less motivated to play. They will go out and hire a good coach but then when that coach realizes he doesnt have the support he needs to keep his team to have consistant winning seasons they bail. Washington the coach before Thompson was not the case were I think it was family problems and he needed to be with his family, but he coached some good Paris teams. Paris needs to go hire a former Paris football player or assistant with some coaching experiance who cares about the program and is willing to stay for the long haul to give this program a chance to rebuild.

Been made official for the Bluegrass bowl game next year. Bishop Chatard from Indianapolis, IN have won 5 of the last 7 state championships up in 3A Indiana.

Its 1-1. Lexcath won at the Holiday Classic and Mason C won at the coliseum

I was wondering the same thing. I know that the U.S. army all-american bowl and combine is coming up soon. Is anybody from Kentucky attending? Would this combine be very beneficial?
