Congrats to all of the players, especially Robbie Ross. I see him making a name for himself in the next few years and eventually makiing it to the bigs. He really is something else to watch pitching a game.

You think Ross is better than Maronde?

 

Right now its hard to say. Maronde has been nothing short of dominant throughout his highschool career, however, he has had a great supporting cast while Ross has not had much of one. I believe his pitching is also good enough for him to make it to the pros, I just think Ross has a higher upside. and you will see this come draft time.This is just my opinion though and I clearly could be wrong. Only time will tell.

In my opinion Maronde has been a better high school pitcher thus far, yet Ross has better potential.

Maronde is a great high school pitcher but I think Ross will make the better collegiate pitcher. Will be fun to watch these guys against each other in college.

That is if Ross goes to college. I heard there were about 15 pro scouts watching LCA's first scrimmage.

At the Lexington Catholic game today there were nearly 30 scouts watching Maronde

Maronde struck out 11 of his 12 outs against a very solid Cov Cath team. He got the win 5-1.
