I can honestly say that I have not watched Jackson City play but some people I know have bragged on them. They better be ready for this Cordia team because they can shoot the lights out. They rely mostly on the 3 point shot but have two good inside players also.. Good luck to both teams.

You are correct in that JBS is young and that may be a factor in the game. It sounds like Estill has a good team and I hope JBS does well against them. They only have one senior but he has played the best ball of his career in the past 5 games. I think it will be a good game and I hope JBS can pull it out.

This will be a great regional tourney and if South Laurel was not in it there are probably 5 or so teams that could win it....

I picked Pendleton County early and will stick with that prediction.....

There are many teams that can win this region. Paintsville has a really good shot because they have alot of talent but the question with them is their youth. On another note I dont think you will be too happy with the 13th region officials. Good luck to all teams in the 15th and whoever wins go represent the 15th well at Rupp...

I think this Leslie/Lee game will be the best game of the first round. Even if you dont have a team playing it will be well worth the price of admission.

I am sure if you come to the game you will see an impressive fan base. The gym holds around 5600-5800 people. Your assessment of JBS is fair so hopefully they will be on in this game for my sake anyway.

Hazard is playing their best ball of the year right now. Gilbert will be fun to watch. Wolfe better be ready for Hazards fans....THey can be brutal....

I guess that what I am trying to get across is that people think that because JBS is so small that they dont have a fan base. I honestly cant explain how they get so many but it usually amazes people.

Do't you think the same off night thing could be said of JBS/Owsley game?

You apparently do not know what you are talking about...Hopefully you can come to the game and see for yourself and if you are an honest person you can come on here and apoligize for you statement.

You guys always go back to that game against Owsley. I am not going to comment on that game because if I did it would not be fair to Owsley. Look at the other teams that they have played in common such as Breathitt and Montgomery where JBS won both games and Estill lost both games by pretty big margins. But if you dont want to look at that and just use the Owsley game as a reference then go ahead. You act as if there is no way June Buchanan can beat a team that has lost 14 games this year. Only time will tell.....

You must not have understood me. It is a school of 60(sixty) high schools students. This is not a misprint. Thats 60 students. But you will understand when you get there and see 2500 JBS fans.

Well you will be amazed that a school like JBS with its 60 high school will have about 2500 on Monday night. They don't have a band but they do hum real well.........

You are more than welcome to remind me tommorrow night if JBS loses. I have been wrong on four other games of theirs this year so you might be right. ( I really didnt think they had a shot against Henry Clay in the other loss)

Just on other note .....Kevin Spurlock has a 16-1 record in this gym....

THe reason I feel this way is that this is like a home game for JBS and if you think that all JBS has is Stepp then you are in for a surprise.......

There had some other players that had huge games like the Campbell kid who had 18.. They have 6 kids that average 8+ points per game. THey can shoot very well at times like recently when they shot 68% against JBS a couple of weeks ago.

JBS might be too young to win it all this year but I dont see any problem with Estill in the first round.

I dont think there is any way Estill CO will beat June BUchanan in the first round... They will be lucky to not get beat by double figures...imo

They are extremely physical,3 kids are about 6'5',very athletic,and play extremely hard. The only weakness I have seen is they sometimes play out of control.. Just being honest.....
