This shows how tough the 11th is this year. I would have picked Tates Creek by a few in this one. Congrats to Henry Clay on the win.

This will be a great game to watch with some of the premier players in the state on the floor at the same time.

They start a 6'9" center,6'6" and 6'3" forwards and Stepp 6'3 at point and Cox at shooting guard. I am sure JBS will not overlook and have alot of respect for the tradition of Pendleton County.

I agree that you cannot completely judge a team from a scrimmage and you also can't bring up state tourney games from last year. I was not talking about Dunbar just couldnt understand the difference in the score. I agree that the 11th is loaded and to be honest with you Dunbar has 0% chance of winning the 11th in MO. Scott Co,Lex Cath,MC,or Tates Creek are too much for them....

This Tates Creek team has impressed me with their wins over MC and Lex Cath this year. They should definitely be a top 10 team....

Most teams in the 11th can beat each other on a given night.....

I wouldnt compare all mountain basketball to this one game but I was surprised by the score. I saw Dunbar play in the Hazard panarama and was not that impressed with them...

The only thing rankings are good for is to give us basketball fans something to argue about. I think the key to how good JBS becomes depends on how much they involve their big guys in the mix. They have tremendous size and they need to use this more to free up some easier shots for Cox and Stepp. I am not sure if they are a top 25 team but I know they probably could be many top 25 teams on a given night.

I think Spurlock will build a good team at Clay this year. It is unfortunate for him that he plays in a tough 13th this year...

I watched Euton play at Rupp in the preseason and I could not believe he is a freshman. He looks and plays like a senior...

I watched Doss this summer and they had a 6'8" point guard that impressed me. Does anyone know where he is playing college ball next year?

It doesnt matter how the game goes people are saying JBS is over-rated. When they lost to Mason Co on a last second shot they say Mason played bad. When they beat an in-county rival in a closer than expected game then they are overated. JBS led by 15 with 2:18 left on the clock and Knott Central hit 4 threes to make the game exciting. Hats off to Knott Co for not giving up and to JBS for beating a good Knott team that was undefeated.

You would be lucky to win if you played JBS again....you probably could not hit another last second shot...If Mason played as bad as you say and Miller had 28 then you are in trouble this year....

Mason County probably will win their region and I will watch them from the upper arena(closer to the bathrooms and concession stands) and I do hope JBS does make it there so all 62 kids in the school get some days off from school.

I am amazed that MC fans are so offended that JBS played them so close. Miller played a great game and had 28 and I hope he ends up at Uk because he is great team player. How much better could they have played? I think MC has a great team and will have a great year but does MC fans have to tear down JBS because the game was so close. But I guess everyone has their own opinion on things and time will tell if JBS is as good as I think.
