Buckhorn vs. Carlisle Co. 12/21

This is part of the Murray High tournament. I don't know a lot about Carlisle Co. Buckhorn is off to a slow start, but the talent is there. What kind of team does Carlisle have and is this a game Buckhorn can regain momentum and begin playing their ability.

What does Buckhorn have?

Buckhorn has come out with a slow start. They have two kids on the inside. Justin Rice (most underrated player in the 14th, 6'2") that is a work horse. Scores, rebounds, and does it on the Defensive side as well. Zack Gay (6'6", top ten in region). They have one of the better shooters I have seen in Andy Blank. He is capable of hitting 5 to 6 threes in a blink of an eye. This team is very scrappy and will leave it out on the floor. They have started slow, but they are replacing four seniors from last season.

Does Gay contribute anything? You gave us good info on how Rice and Blank can perform but none on the Gay kid. 6'6" should be a big help on the inside. Also, any other contributing players?

Gay can score and is a threat on the defensive side. Very aggressive on the offensive side. Likes to step out and shoot the 3, which he is capable of doing. These three played last season. Rice and Gay started. Blank came off the bench as a freshman. The rest of the team is growing up as they play. Coach Noble does a great job there and will have his team ready to play.

Buckhorn is a team that is still growing. Once they do, they will be tough. What kind of team does Carlisle Co. have.
