Yes I would say Neely is ahead of Brandenburg, but both good players.

Maybe not the best but definently in the top 3-5.

It wasn't Gilbert fault and I dont think we should blame it on him, he sat the whole second quarter because of foul trouble and his team got down 20 after having a decent lead most of the time he was in, so why should we blame it on a kid who all he does is go out there and play hard? Are you jealous IMO, just wondering because you never said Hazard losses another one with Hicks leading the way when WC beat them, btu everytime Gilbert has a good game you want to blame him for his teams loss, which I dont think is fair. Take him away from the team and see what they do. I bet he led the team in asissts too, alongwith boards.

I agree Estill is very good. Dixon is a very good player, he plays super smart. Berryman in good also. PLus they were missimg a few starters that are supposed to be back for the Hazard game. I will take Estill in this one as I don't see hazard matching up to well with them, but if EC doesn't handle Hazard's pressure it could get ugly.

Cordia is a good team thats gets too little attention. They have a decent record but have performed well and lost quite a few close games. They will definetly be there come tournament time. Any stats?

Yeah, It was a good game. Wolfe came out and got a 14-2 lead but Estill settled down and startd to cut into it. When Gilbert picked up his second foul in the first quarter he sat out and Estill took their first lead. Foul trouble really hurt the Wolves. Gilbert sat out almost the whole second quarter after picking up his third foul early. Estill took advantage built up a lead close to 20, but WC cut it to 12 by half. Estil came out hot in the second and got the lead back to 20 early. But everything settled down and the lead stayed around 10 for the remainder of the game. Dixon is a load and Estill is a good team. Congrats Engineers

Walker is the more athletic of the two but OJ can shoot better. It is more of a question of what you are looking for. Bill is taller with a strong build so he might perform better in the NBA, which I am pretty sure both of them will make it too. But it is still to early to tell. They are both great players who help each other. Very fun to watch.

I agree Qman. good game experiecne for Hazard. Will help them but I think the score will be something like Catholic by 23.

I know what you mean RTP, switching regions means more than just switching who you play. You have to adapt to a new style of play, a different style of refering, and a different style of coaching. Estill will be very well adapt in a few years, and they are good enough to make alot of noise this year.

I think it will be a good game. Either team has a chance to win. Just depends on which team shows up.

No but he has probably averaged 25 on out of area schools.

I agree CMIYC.He is another player that the 14th region (fans and players alike) seem to love to hate.

I agree that Smith gets tons of attention in the 14th and I would have to say his running mate would be Gilbert. These are two players that people either love or hate and most of them seem too hate. But it is ok I hope neither one of them listen to it to much. They are both to good to worry about it.

Cordia should win this one at home, but JBS has a good chance.

If they should've won then why didnt they? Hazard was outplayed and if Wolfe plays the way they did that night than they will be able to beat anyone in this region.

When did that happen? Oh guess what he isnt shooting all the shoots, he does probably shoot about 30% of them though. Oh yeah i forgot to mention he leads his team in assists, steals, rebounds, ppg and blocks. What else does a man need to do to earn respect. And I dont think that anyone in the 14th could switch places with Gilbert and perform as well as he has. When someone else in this region faces constant double teams and does almost everthing for their team let me know.

If the Owls can hold the big ones form Leslie into just mediocre games they can win. Plus they need to show up like they did against South Floyd not Lee.

I love your personal vandetta agianst Gilbert. This thread is about the best player not the best team. Ask all the BGP's who they would rather have your beloved Bailey or Gilbert and I gaurantee you will get an overwhelming majority who want Gilbert. It is ok that you think TB is the best player in the region but clearly he is not. He doesnt do what it takes to win, his team and coaches team do what it takes to win.

like I said before, there are players that are capable of playing D-1 they just need their names out there. I think Cody has the ability to play D-1 or WKU wouldn't have offered him. He didnt have a chance to accept as he was second on their list and A.J. Slaughter from Shelby Co. accepted his first. He has the potential all he needs is to get his name out there, plus they offered him before this year started and he has played 20 times better this season so I think he might have a decent chance at going to a D-1 school.

I think he has already met Zach Gay from Buckhorn, hasn't he? Oh well anyways I want to say that Smith is a very good player and he has made his team better but as of right now I dont see him as one of the top 5 in the region. He is playing decent but not great like the others are. Only time will tell though.
