Believe it or not I have a set of orignal Jarts UNUSED, still in the original box! Got them from an estate. I wonder if they are worth anything.

If your kids are like mine they are consumed with video/computer games. Not so in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. What toys do you remember fondly from your childhood? For me the Superfriends Mego action figures. I think I had every one. they would be worth a fortune now. I also had a collection of Western action figures (about 12" tall) with horses, the ranch/fort, cowboy, Indian, cowgirl, and lots of accessories...can't remember the name of it, but it was really cool.

I think Edge will have a big year, and Duece will see fewer and fewer touches as Bush continues to improve. I think Leinart (and Losman for that matter) will be servicable QBs, so I would not make the trade. However, if you are set on Kitna, and are still weighing the Duece vs. Lynch thing, I think Duece may score more than Lynch in the first half of the season, but the tables will turn drastically in the second half of the season.

This line of reasoning has always confused me. I know beating a team handily is fun, but I am certain that every coach at every level of play in the country would rather have a pair of 3-0 victories to go with a 50-6 defeat rather than visa versa. I can't imagine a coach preferring to have a 1-2 record instead of a 2-1 record just because it included a HUGE margin of victory. It's like a baseball player who hits a ball 500 feet, but foul, vs. a player who swings at a ball in the dirt. Either way it is a strike and the only thing that matters is what you do with the next pitch.

If there is no real controversy then Cunningham will do this sort of thing just to stir the waters. He has an ego bigger than most of the players on the team. I am not a fan of Bill Cunningham, but I do listen to him occasionally which is why he still has a job. I do, however, think he should be reprimanded for these over-the-line comments. With the microphone should come some sense of responsibility.

I should temper this comment by saying that I support T, though many of my friends are X supporters. I went on the KHSAA website to double check the titles, runners-up, etc. Upon closer inspection in appears that the only timeframe whereby the programs appear equal (from a state title standpoint) is over the last 15 years. If the parameters are changed to the last 5 years or the last 20 years then T gets the nod (in state titles). X's dominance was from '92-'99 (4 titles to T's 1). T dominated from '80-'90 (6 to 1) and the 00s (5 to 1). Prior to 1980 the programs were tied at 5 titles each. I have no idea as to the head-to-head, all-state players, etc, but I would think that either program would take a state title over a head-to-head meeting or a host of all-staters, IMO.

And why aren't chap-stick tubes half as long as they are currently are? You always lose them or throw them away before they are half gone.

Why do hot dogs come in packages of 10 and buns in packages of 12?

Give me football or futbol either one over the NBA, WNBA, or college (ping!) baseball.

Manual should win, but if Ballard's performance against X was a true indicator, I think Ballard can win. At least I am pulling for the Bruins.
