Sorry, I posted the score on another thread. Didn't notice your post. Ryle was down by 6 at the half. Boone blew it open in the last couple minutes of the third. :eek:

Let's start with any game played prior to Dec. 3rd.

If a fan from each school will report game scores to this thread I will try to track standings throughout the season. I will update the standings every Sunday. This thread will only be as accurate as the reporting so please don't forget to update us after each game.

Ryle has only been opened since 94 (I think) so there isn't a large alumni base. Union is a developing area with the majority of the population moving there from other places. Most of the Ryle fans coming to the game will be parents and current students. I will be surprised if we bring a huge crowd with it being a weeknight game, the Bengals, and the weather. And our student section is disappointing.

What 4th Quarter coaching decisions are you referring to? The decision to play the JV when the score was 49-7? Or the decision to put some starters back in when Henderson scored two quick TDs on the JV? Or the decision to play the JV when Henderson never pulled it's starters the entire game?

Do you know that for sure? I spoke to the superintendent last night and he indicated that school would be on regular schedule Thursday and Friday. He did hint that anyone missing school Friday would be excused.

He sounds like a real class act.

Someone help me out here. I'm not familar with Duffy's slim 30 and does he have some history in NKY?

At least 20 kids standing on the sidelines that never got their jersey dirty.

One last thing on this. Why did Henderson play their starters the entire game. Ryle went with the second team pretty early but Henderson wouldn't have anything to do with it. Ryle probably should have run the score up. I give our coaching staff a lot of credit for not making it worse than it was.

Would it really make you feel that much better if Male had made it further? They must not be the best team in the state if they didn't beat Trinity.

Good challenge raider mom. I think the crowds at the last two or three games have reminded me of a Kentucky basketball game against an lesser opponent. The fans expect to win so they don't think they have to cheer. More of a social wine and cheese crowd. Even the students haven't been very loud. Raider fans need to learn to get loud and stay loud during the game. Let's hope the holiday weekend doesn't hurt attendance.

They do now for the regional tournament in basketball. Sounds like a good idea although Ryle is loving hosting this year.

Trinity probably should worry about getting past Henry Clay and Ryle getting past Henderson.

I grew up about 20 miles from Paintsville. I'll be pulling for the Eagles in this one.

Quit crying about who you had to play. You got to play who is lined up in your bracket. If you win you are the best team if you don't then you weren't.

I made the trip a couple of weeks ago on business. It took me 3 hours to get there. When you get to Louisville follow I64 to Evansville, IN. Henderson is just across the river. Nice town. It will be a long trip home though after meeting the stingy Raider defense.
