The game got started late because of problems with the field. Game was 38-0 at halftime. JV played the entire second half.

Russell quit after a couple of games last year.

Ryle defeated Beechwood last night. Looks like the Semi-finals have Ryle vs. Newport Catholic and ? vs. Holmes

Ryle's game vs. Cov Cath was cancelled due to bad weather. They have not played this year.

I was told last night that Holmes JV was 11-0

Ryle did defeat Dixie Monday night at Ryle. So no the early round games are not on neutral sites. I was told that Dixie had beat Villa Madonna (I think) to advance and play Ryle. Ryle is 10-4 on the season with losses to Conner, Holmes, Tates Creek, and Clark County.

Congrats to CCH on the win last night. They came ready to play and lit up the nets. In the second half they shot 75% while Ryle shot 27%. No reason for Ryle to hang their heads they played hard but sometimes shots just don't fall. Coach Herron did a great job this season leading the Raiders to a 19-5 record. Many of these kids played together at Gray Middle School where they acheived a record of 67-12 over three years. Coach Herron really got these boys to gel together as a team. The future certainly looks bright for Coach Mullins and the Raiders.

Championship game tonight between Cov Cath and Ryle was postponed until Friday night at 7:30 PM still at Cov Cath.

Congratulations to Highlands on a great season. It is very hard to go undefeated. Ryle has only lost 4 games all year and lost to Highlands in the regular season by one point on a last second shot. I knew that the young Raiders would be focused since they felt they shouldn't have lost in the regular season. I didn't notice Highlands missing anyone from the first match-up.

Two great games tonight. Ryle comes out on fire in the second quarter outscoring Highlands 16-7 to end the half up 13. Highlands was in foul trouble all night. They made a good run at the end to cut the lead but the Raiders made their free throws down the stretch to revenge a 1 point loss in the regular season. :thumb: Tight second game with Dixie playing shorthanded. They were missing two starters tonight, their point guard to sickness and their power forward was on crutches. Dixie has another big man get injured in the first half. Dixie struggled with the press tonight. They got in foul trouble in the third allowing CCH to pull away. Great game by Wellbrock for CCH.

Anyone have results from last nights games?

Not sure how Highlands is in the top 10 when they have only won 5 games.

Upper bracket consists of Highlands/Bye - Highlands (18-0) vs. Holmes/HC - Holmes NCC/St. H - NCC (9-7) vs. Ryle/Scott - Ryle (17-4) Lower bracket consists of Dixie/Boone - Dixie (21-9) vs. SK/Newport (12-5) - Weds Beech/Cov Cath (9-8) - Weds vs. Conner (12-8)/Lloyd - Weds I'm sure not all of those records are correct but that's the last report I have.

Scott was in it also. Aren't they in the 10th. They lost to Ryle in the first round.
